Eddie had a fantastically exhausting first day at school as a therapy dog student. He and the kids will learn a lot from each other, not the least of which is unconditional love.

Eddie’s first official day of therapy dog training was a huge success! He revisited Buckeye Central and discovered his favorite place to nap. At Dutchtown Dairy he got a baby-sized ice cream cone, and shared a couple bites of our lunch. He slept well last night!! 🐕‍🦺🐾

Dog-friendly Bean Daddy in New Washington gave Eddie his first pup cup today. It was good to the last lick! He’ll be back for more, soon!

The girls love watching the handrail progress on our stairs. They are good company for Dave while he works.

Yesterday he was perfect on the dock. Today, the ornery puppy side of Eddie made an appearance. His face is his salvation. 😇🐾

It was a beautiful day to sit on the dock. We are training Eddie to go to the dock, then to sit and wait. That way, if he runs from us, he’s got a favorite terminus for us to retrieve him. 🐾🩵

A few years ago, when Dave was recovering from a perilous bout of Covid, Mocha was constantly by his side. That sweet, comforting bond remains strong:). Oh, and watch for Henry’s cameo!
