Someone needs a great story…
I lost my necklace that Greg gave me while I was Pregnant with Rachel way back in 1998.
It’s been gone a good 3 months. I’ve looked, I figured it down that it’s down the shower drain or in the garden.
The other day I was in the garden complaining to God that the bugs are getting my Okra. I changed my voice and stopped myself and said,”you are a good Father and you know what I need and what I want, I trust you and know you have the best for me and my family. “ I looked around at the garden and smiled that this is where I talk to Him and enjoy being alone, I looked down and my necklace was laying at my feet. I was standing in the gate of the garden y’all. I had walked that spot with my eyes down for months. And I used to be known for finding things. Well, the funny thing to me is that it’s all scrambled up like it was in someone’s pocket… or a crop of a ROOSTER!!!
That’s what I think happened. A rooster ate it and it’s been all around where roosters go and out it drops at my feet at the gate of my Garden where God meets me.
He shows us His attention and His love. Sometimes it’s through the digestive tract of a rooster or the hospital suite of your loved one.
He is the God that hears and answers, and loves.

I’ll let you know the verdict on Okra 😘

Update for Greg Schnakenberg
He is feeling well and in good hands here at St Luke’s. We have a potential surgery scheduled for tomorrow on his foot. Looks like the big toe and some skin is being amputated.
We appreciate the prayers, we believe God is in control and able to do everything He wants to do in this situation. He would love to go home with 10 toes but will be happy to leave with a testimonial of life!!!

Today 3/21 Greg Schnakenberg is scheduled for surgery on his foot.

He has an infection and abscess that needs to be removed. While in surgery they are going to check to see what damage is done to bones etc.
A second surgery would be to remove any bones that are damaged beyond repair.
Issues for prayer.
Circulation
Infection all removed
Abscess
Bones clear of all infection and corruption

Please pray for this miracle we are experiencing. The story is long and I’ll leave that for him. K
