Country Kennels is a boarding kennel for dogs set in the beautiful country environment of New Wilmington not so far from town. We offer individual inside dog runs 4' x 6' and outside dog runs 4' x 12' that dogs may go in/out at their leisure (weather permitting), we have an outside fenced in exercise and play area.

Good morning Country Kennels families. As of January 1st, 2025 the office will be closed on Saturdays for drop off and pick-ups. The office will remain open Sunday-Friday by appointment as usual.

FYI to all of my Country Kennels friends. The Dog Warden is now requiring us to document all dog license numbers when boarding. Failure to provide this information my result in a $500 fine for the dog owner. As always, all vaccinations (with documentation) must be current throughout their stay (Rabies, Bordetella, and all other annual vaccines).

We are currently looking for summer kennel help. Applicants must be over 18 years old and great with all dog breeds. In addition you must always be loving, caring, patient and kind to them. Good people skills are also helpful. Work involves caring for all dogs, feeding, cleaning, exercising and of course fun playing with them. Experience with dogs is helpful and preferred. Hours will be two hours per day 430 to 6:30 PM 1 to 2 days a week. May also have additional hours available. Must be dependable! Applicants may DM any questions or résumé.
