Our boy Malcolm passed yesterday unexpected. Only 5 yrs old and full of personality and love. Never knew he had lung cancer. His owners treated him like a King. What a huge loss. My arms are wrapped around all who had the privilege of caring for him. Rest easy my sweet boy.

Puff, you left us way too soon. Just 12 yrs old. What an incredible personality. You made sure you bit my toes everytime I visited you. Those claws made there way into my leg. You thought it was funny. Dang bud, I am going to miss you. Sad finding out some of my fur babies have passed on.

This was extremely important and the only reason I am sharing such a sad moment. She lost her best friend. They had been together for years. She went crazy when she could not see her any longer. To the point of soaked in sweat from running and screaming for her. I lead her to where her friend laid to rest. A peace came over her after she smelled where she was. So, as most horse people know they have to say goodbye just like we do. I am beyond sad with the loss of 2 very special important animals that were so dear to my heart. Roscoe and Nyssa made a forever impression on my heart. Grieving is tough. I read something that Miranda Lambert posted about the loss of her pup. "To love so big you have to hurt just as big."

At a pet sitting job when a monster storm blows in. Lana was stuck in the car. I was in the house with the dog when lighting hit so close it knocked the power out. Scary.

I think its absolutely fascinating that this horse broke his shoulder and is doing very well now. What terrific parents for nursing him back to health. Miracles do happen. Keeping him in my prayers to keep moving in the right direction.
