Boris, a giant lump of love poorly disguised as a cat, is ready for adoption! Found shivering in the rain, filthy, with ears collapsed from infection and fighting, we knew he wasn't made for the streets. He loves attention, playing, and sleeping. Fundraising Friday this week is all about Boris!! Filthy boy Boris got himself rescued, was neutered, his ears were getting better, we just thought he just needed a little dental next month when POW an abscess that 2 different vets missed burst in his abdomen. He has been hospitalized at Verg, released, the drain came OUT and he's been back to the hospital to get it cleaned, watched, and bandages changed . I just really want these sweet children to find their perfect home.

Butterball is my precious little princess. She had the hardest start in life. Born outside, thyroid busted, sitting in filth to the brink of death. The internet came together to root for her and she made it! She's doing perfect on her medication, which is affordable and she takes without complaint. She has congenital hypothyroidism, so it will be a condition that needs treatment for life. But she's worth it.

Jumbotron was also born on the streets but kind of knew from the start that he was destined for a life of luxury. He loves his sister, and he's such a curious little lover.

They are affectionate, funny, silly little babies who will bring so much joy to any family.

She has been on absolutely nothing for 2 weeks and she looks and acts so much better. It is still not healed. It is swollen and the 3rd eyelid indicates inflammation. So she is not better. But she is not in a $10k crisis as of right now. So I will be seeking other options for her.

Please share to get these babies a home! Butterball and Jumbotron are gentle, playful, affectionate kittens. They are fully vetted. Butterball has congenital hypothyroidism, but it is well-managed on 2 pills a day (just $10/ month!).

Donate/ comment/ share/ like ! ct scan and endoscopy needed for Pan Dolce. these are VERY expensive services and believe me, if there were any other way to help her. I would do it. I've thought about asking for an elective eye removal since that would open up this area, that's crazy though, the eye is still good (for now...) I just need a vet to be able to see what's going on in there since she hasn't improved on any thing we've tried so far.

Toto is a unique, ferret- faced little guy. We're not sure what causes his peculiar looks, but, he had corrective surgery on his eyelids and now he shouldn't have lingering medical effects. He's funny, playful, curious and headstrong if not entirely gifted in the brains department.

Mr Jones is his caretaker and playmate. He's clever enough for the both of them, and deeplyaffectionate. They must be adopted together. Both male, neutered, and ready for their forever home!

FOSTER WANTED!
We are looking for a foster for 6-month-old Carvel. His sister needs socialization, and her socialization doesn’t go nearly as well when Carvel is around.
Carvel is a completely sweet, friendly male kitten. He’s very rambunctious and playful and needs a lot of love and attention. He has been neutered, received his first vaccines and tested negative for FIV/FELV.

La Lupe demanded to be rescued but MANY cats in and are not so lucky. EVERY cat you see on the streets is descended from an unfixed pet cat. The people of Brooklyn WANT to do right by their pets and MUST offer spay/neuter services in our area. It has been 3 years since no vans. can you connect with / to get the vans back, monthly, to the park? It is a NEEDED service. People here do not want to see kittens frozen to the ground and for 3 years they have had no choice that they used to have. District38 needs this!

Literally every city block in Sunset has 20+ unfixed cats.

Park Slope? Maybe 2. Mostly fixed. We want the same opportunity to do right by our animals, same as rich neighborhoods. We just need the tools to do so.

it's wonderful to welcome a new pet around the holidays but NEVER make a pet a surprise, and never put the pressure of a holiday unwrapping on a stressed- out animal. Even the youngest and most sociable cats need a significant adjustment period! If you want a new pet over the holidays, do it before or after, not Xmas morning, not at the Hanukkah candle lighting. I promise it's better to go slow, for everyone. Humans included! Take the pressure OFF this year.
