I'm so upset with myself. Someone please give me some advice/insight.

We rescued this kitten from our local shelter. My son has been begging for a kitten and she was the absolute perfect fit.
She was scheduled to get spayed before we took her home and we had to keep the appointment. Our shelter requires any animal in and out to be spayed/neutered. They also clipped her ear which is apparently something they do in our county because of the feline overpopulation. I did get her microchipped.
She's been in our home for 6 days. Super playful, cuddly. She is the absolute most patient, sweet, fun kitten and my children are completely obsessed and have been pampering her like the queen she is.
Upon bringing her home after her surgery, she is very reclusive and no longer snuggly. I went down a rabbit hole and read that these procedures can cause dramatic personality changes. 😢
I put her on my lap while sitting in our recliner (one of her favorite spots to be) and she immediately jumped down. She doesn't want to be pet and I'm completely understanding especially since today is her first day of recovery. I just really hope I didn't ruin her sweet, loveable self. I'll be devastated. 😢

I adopted a ten year old Blue Russian and have had so many issues with him throwing up. Idk if it’s a combination of stress with the move or distraught from them getting rid of him after 10 years of having him. I will never understand how anyone can get rid of a pet they’ve owned for so many years but nevertheless, his health issues are now my problems. Any advice and or input is greatly appreciated. He is scheduled for bloodwork Wednesday but my heart breaks for him.

Lost my Baby girl sprout very suddenly on Saturday night in our home , I’m not doing good at all, I had this girl since she was a new born. I feel like I lost my child, she would have been 3 in April, we were in no way prepared to loose her, she now resides outside in the backyard buried, we are going to make a grave stone for her. I’m in desperate need of prayers and good vibes as I’m learning to live without my baby girl, she was gone too soon.

My boyfriend's cat Mille crossed the rainbow bridge today, aged 17 years and 17 days ❤️ 😥 I will miss her so much and so will he. But she had metabolism issues and was almost completely blind, and her motorical skills were rapidly deteriorating. So today he took her for a final trip to the vet. Now she lies buried in the garden where she loved to hangout and "help" him with the gardening, climb the trees, sunbathe or try to catch the birds. RIP sweet Mille 🐈😘💙

Little miss Zoya went to the vet for her annual exam and shots yesterday along with her two dog siblings. They brought both dogs back into the room quickly but kept Zoya in the back during her turn for quite awhile. I started to get worried! Did something go wrong? She’s so sweet with me but maybe she didn’t like being taken away to a strange cold place without me… They finally bring her back in and I ask if everything was ok, the tech looked a little embarrassed and said “Oh yeah, she just flopped over to show her belly when we put her in the side restraint, and we all had to gush over her, then when we realized she liked to give kisses we all had to take turns getting kisses from her and we got a little carried away. Sorry we kept her so long.” 😭 I was so glad that was the only reason, but OF COURSE I should have known my little princess went back there and stole the hearts of all the techs 🥺😍

If y'all could please keep my sweet boy Maze in your thoughts & prayers 🙏 He's been battling a blocked bladder due to a cluster of cells. They've unblocked him twice this week and he spent three long days/nights at the vet. I brought him home yesterday and he was acting like normal self, eating & drinking well while still only getting a dribble out here & there. He's been in pain today & it breaks my heart I can't do anything for him. Calling the vet again in the morning to see about pain meds and checking to see if he's reblocked.

Everyone meet Boo 👻 (his birthday is in October hence the name) We rescued him out of a car engine when he was just 3 weeks old! Now my sweet boy is almost 5 months and is living his best kitty life! I can’t be more grateful for him.. We definitely saved each other 🥹🖤

I am sad to update but the vet said my baby girl doesn’t have much longer left, they found that she has cancer
