There's a lot to say and not a lot of time to say it. My confidence issues have gotten in the way of my training. I was afraid to ride him today. He was spooking and backing up and I needed help and...it made me feel like a failure. "How do you call yourself a trainer when you cant even ride your horse?" I thought to myself. But you know what, its been two years of being called weak. Its been two years of hospitals, in and out. We are going back to the round pen for now and i will hopefully be able to get some phenomenal footage and photos of him in motion again. My confidence will go up as soon as someone tells me I don't suck. I just need a few lessons, a tune up, and he needs some instructions from someone who isn't me. I like the trainer very much and I'm currently selling some blankets and tack including two saddles in schooling condition or better. Im searching in every corner to figure it out for his sake, not mine. He deserves me at my best and its ok to admit im not really there right now. Love and carrots 💚🤎🤍🤎💚 Momther 💝

Here for a little pony #tag? We know the video looks like it came from a potato, but we just wanted to share! Our method of getting Camo balanced and comfortable going right is to play. We encourage any forward movement, including twists, turns, and me running through deep sand until I need an inhaler LOL. Horseback riding and training is just as much about OUR fitness as his and overcoming challenges like the thoroughbred and the notoriously left-focused brain. We have a hard time going to the right. What we don't have is a horse who forgot his training. So if for now building that balance to the right on the ground includes me running around in the #summer heat with him, and gets his feet moving forward and his transitions to a halt sharp, it's what we'll do! . . . . . #horseretrain #ottb #fyp #unconventionaltraining

What's coming: Momther here. We're a little slow today but guess what? NEW PHONE. It will be here by the 5th, so if there's just a touch of radio silence please don't worry! I'm taking another exploratory drive out there with Gramndmomther because I'm a chicken after not driving for so long and then... and then... Running all the social media is hard but we're balling on a budget. Still, the new phone should give me ample opportunity to work on Camo's journals (he demands the typey types when he's in training. You know dis.), tiktoks, youtube reels. We are on almost every major social. We only are not on 'X'. You can find us everywhere under bestgrandpacamo <3! Insta and fb are easy enough because they're linked, but I am aiming for shorts and reels and tiktoks that are at least a little different and show all the facets of life with Our Boy from fails to comedy to big wins for us. We also want to add in his voice overs. These are big lofty goals, but I know that with time we will accumulate the content we want so badly to put out for you. Our goal, truly, is to share Camo with the world, and while I have a small team of volunteers it is still A Lot(TM) and your continued and ongoing patience is not unnoticed nor unappreciated. We're getting back to where we started - silly horf journals, prickle spaghetti, and peppymints. (OH and the dictioneighry, feel free to comment your puns at any point, I'd love to write it all down and publish a small Camonite Journal and dictioneighry book. Another lofty goal for down the road, but I don't know if anyone has gotten this from me yet but I don't give up til I get what I want when it comes to my goals in life. And his goals.
