Meet Skittles!
Skittles is our four year old Cane Corso mix. This sweet boy was found abandoned, tied to a fence 😔 As you can see he is very skinny and also had a terrible ear infection that is currently being treated. Skittles is now looking for a wonderful home where he will never have to worry about being neglected or abandoned ever again.

Ernestine's retirement schedule revolves around the daily care needs of her three senior dogs.📅🐕

Every day at 3 pm, Ernestine gives Fluffy (7) a shot for his thyroid and diabetes, alongside preparing special snacks for Little Man (17) and Roscoe (6). When she brought her three dogs to C.A.R.E.4Paws Pet Wellness Clinic for flea treatments, nail trims, and vaccines the total cost was too much on her limited, fixed income.

Fortunately, the compassionate clinic team assured her that the costs would be covered thanks to a Grey Muzzle grant. Ernestine left the clinic relieved and grateful. 💙

We are also grateful to the C.A.R.E.4Paws' team and our amazing donors for making this possible. Your support helps dedicated pet owners like Ernestine ensure their senior dogs stay healthy and happy at home. 🫶

After living in a basement for a year surviving on scraps, she never gave up her sweet smile. 🥹

At 7 years old, Rhea, a resilient shepherd mix, was rescued from a basement in Texas where she survived on scraps for over a year. Animal Protection Society of Friday Harbor took her in but during her senior wellness checkup, Rhea tested positive for tapeworms and showed signs of malnutrition and chronic anemia.

Thanks to a Grey Muzzle, grant, APS-FH provided Rhea with the crucial medical and dental care she needed. With this support, Rhea was on her way to better health and comfort and most importantly, ready to be adopted! 🫶
