As many of you are aware, I left NYC, the place I grew up, in 2018. I closed my hypnosis practice of 37 plus plus years (yes, a slumlord took over my residential building and some of the practices they did to try to get us all out, took it's toll on my health). So, what did I do? I bought my dream RV from Justinincredible (you can see his videos on youtube), moved to Florida and taught veterans (for Free), my unique, results orientated hypnotherapy. It was very satisfying. It gave them a career and a purpose.
Florida's 3 months of beautiful weather and months of intense heat just wasn't for me. Visiting with my guitar teacher from those early CBGB days in NYC (a lifetime ago), he (famous musician John Berenzy) suggested, "Why don't you move up here?" Obviously, he's a much better hypnotist than I am. Because just a few months later, I bought a small cottage nestled up here in NY's beautiful Catskills. I'm just far enough away from crime in neighboring cities, a few hour drive from my family, a two hour bus ride to NYC .... and if I want to relive the 60s ... The town of Woodstock NY is right down the road! :)
People have been emailing me over the years asking me for recomendations, and I really wasn't happy with the turntable hypnotists the web was turning out. I've watched many plagerize my websites over the years to the point where they forgot to take my name out of the copy.
I've recently had a few clients come and visit me and realized how much I really missed doing sessions. Getting the results that I wished someone had helped me get all those early years coming from the environment I grew up in. This new virus has caused me to rethink. I was never a fan of online hypnosis sessions because it didn't lend itself to the 3-8 hour one on one, very abreactive sessions I did and not a controlled environment (dropped phone lines, inability to physically stabilize a client ... eg. You can't do CPR on Skype) ... I've decided I'm going to enter the new millenium of hypnosis and offer online sessions. I thought it was going to be a whole relearning process, but the joke is, I might have to limit a lot of processes I can do in a person's physical presence. The good side is, I don't have to travel, you don't have to travel and you've got a wealth of information from a person who studied and was friends with all the past greats who really were devoted to powerful change and freedom in their clients.
So, in the next few weeks, I'll be revamping some of my websites for Skype/Zoom/FB one on ones, but for the serious few, you might still want to pay a visit ... it is a life changing experience (as I spent a lifetime refining these techniques) ... something that will stay with you a lifetime.
One of the last video I recorded in NYC, just before I tore that office apart and I left NYC, is below. I never expected ever to retire back then, but it led to a lot of adventures I would never had had. For someone like me, retirement is boring. I've built huge non profits for many corporations growing up ... free groups from Sea kayaking (seakayaker.com) .... free self help groups that spread all over the world - Sleepwalkers (the real 'woke' generation) ... a lifetime of work that others are profiting off of today (Please send me a check ..... it's time) ... as well as trained some of the best, most knowledgable hypnotists/hypnotherapists on the planet. Now remember, my time started before the internet. This was all created when even having an email address was a strange concept.
Here's my video from my last days in my favorite office location in NYC (36th Street - between 7th and bway / Parallel to Macy's).
