Meet Whisper: the softie from the Bronx

Whisper is a gray tabby with a raspy little mew that sounds like someone stole his voice box 🎤 But don’t worry — he makes up for it with full-body purrs, zoomies for days, and dramatic, arms up belly-flop greetings 🙆👋

We trapped Whisper by accident while working a large colony in the Bronx. We stepped away, came back, and there he was… caught with an adult cat like, “Sup. I live here now.” 😏

At first, he played it tough. He held out until about 5pm that day, but by 6, he was rolling over for belly rubs and rubbing noses like we were old friends 🥹

Whisper is:

• 🏡 Looking for someone great — ideally with another playful cat or kitten

Avatar (aka Rhea) is a sweet, mischievous, goofy boy! He is equally happy chasing balls around or napping on your lap. He loves keyboards and will write your emails for you. And look at those gams - he’s got legs for days.

He is friendly, supremely well adjusted, tested, vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and just a few days shy of 5 months old... which means that technically he could be adopted solo but only to a home that has someone home most days and can give him lots of attention and playtime. He loves other cats and ideally would have a friend! He loves 🐈 🚿 and snuggles.

One look into Pablo’s eyes and you’ll fall in love 😻

Sweet & gentle Pablo is one year old and such a handsome boy! He is around one year old and full of soothing energy. You would never guess that he was recently found wandering around outside! His finder saw how trusting and calm Pablo is and knew life on the streets was not for him. Fortunately they were able to scoop him up and bring him to a WAGG foster where he’s getting lots of love. Pablo has been called one of the calmest cats they’ve met and that anyone would be lucky to have him 🌟

Tesoro is the cutest orange tabby kitten in the world 🧡

Tesoro is a 3 month old boy who is a completely perfect kitten. His name means Treasure in Italian and Spanish, which is completely fitting for this sweetheart! 😻 He was found in the Bronx where he was shut down and scared eating dry food off the street. Within just a day he turned into a total cuddle bug! He is so snuggly and playful, and he especially loves any toy on a string. He doesn’t get into trouble even though he’s curious about everything and is actually quite smart, defying all odds for an orange cat! 😹 He loves other cats and is always snuggling with the resident cat in his foster home! He also tolerates the dogs he has met.

We’ve got too many kittens & not enough laps, so let’s talk about these two cuties who are ready to go HOME.

🖤 Dancy is a black & white tuxie girl who’s got a soft spot for naps in your lap & wand toy super smackdown parties. 🎣🥊 She’s totally chill by nature, but flash that toy and she’s locked in!

🤍 Silk is her tabico tuxedo sister who’s always on the move. She’s playful, fearless & kinda obsessed with chasing the mouse on her foster’s computer screen. 🐭🖥️

Both are 13 weeks old, healthy, playful, social & adorable in that “we play hard, then pass out in a shoebox together” kind of way.

They arrived with colds, but with some serious TLC from their foster, they’ve made a full comeback & are thriving. They can be adopted separately, but honestly if you’re looking for a kitten duo, they’re a perfect pair. 👯 Or, if you’ve already got a playful cat who can keep up with kitten energy, these two would fit right in!

Posted • We’re so excited to share that Bowie has been adopted! He started giving his adopter his signature head butts within seconds, and happily hopped into the carrier as if to say, “Thanks lady, this vacation has been nice but time to get back to my real life!” We came to love our quirky little Bowie boy and we’ll miss him loads. but knowing he’s safe and stable in a forever home fills our hearts with joy.

Kitten season is in full swing, space is tight, and these three stars at Bushwick Bark Knickerbocker are dressed, adorable, and ready 👏 to 👏 go 👏

♠️ Baby (3m, tuxedo, spayed)
Pink-nosed, wide-eyed, and seriously well-mannered. She’s giving classic elegance with a hint of softness 🕊️the type who will quietly steal your heart (and your warm laundry pile).

♣️ Munchkin II (3m, tuxedo, spayed)
Tiny, fierce, and sporting a perfect little beauty mark on her nose. She’s all charm, all energy ⚡️and totally rocking that “quirky genius in formalwear” look.

🕶️ Wyatt (4m, black, unneutered)
He’s the cool guy of the group, chill, curious, and effortlessly handsome. Its like he’s in a band 🎸you’ve never heard of but will definitely love. He likes his toys, his people, and a good stretch in a cozy spot.

✅All three are playful, social, litter-trained, and more than ready for forever!! Whether you fall for one or open your home to more, now’s the time…the foster room is full, and more kittens are waiting for a chance like this.

Looking for a knight in white (furry) armor? Meet Sweetie!🤍

This brave, snuggly little guy is only 4 months old but already full of love and confidence.🤍

He walked into his foster home ready to explore, totally unfazed by the older cats hissing at him, and he still tried to cuddle them. 😭

Sweetie is playful, affectionate, and always down for a nap on something soft.🤍

He’s obsessed with crinkly toys, loves Churu and Science Diet kitten food, and gives the cutest little meows when he wants attention.🤍

He’ll thrive in just about any home, but especially one looking for a good cuddle buddy. 🤍🐾

Well he has committed another crime of stealing hearts 💕 Cat Burglar snoozed his way into a happy life in his fosters home, and they were so smitten with him they have decided to adopt!
