"Im Not Bye Den It" is a 2021 AQHA bay gelding. Sailor is a big mover and conformationally sound with a packed pedigree. Otoe, Dr Nick Bar, Colonel Freckles, Sugar Bars, Docs Hickory, and Leo can all be found in his pedigree. We have started and rode 4 horses on his papers with each one being smart, athletic, and kind. Cute boy ready for a sweet home. Miniature horses have social, gentle personalities. They are easily trained and love to be around people. Due to their social nature, they make excellent pets. Additionally, the calm disposition of minis makes them ideal emotional support or service animal.

I never did get around to posting about selling Jenny. I had a few people come up to me in shock that she only brought $500. I was bummed too but not totally shocked. She didn’t handle the environment well. The more times we went into the arena the worse she got. It was my fault for not preparing her better.

I got her more broke than I’ve ever gotten a mustang before. She could slide stop nearly 10 feet, change leads and lope slow, small, and collected circles. But it doesn’t do you much good if they can’t do it in front of a crowd and applause. I’m disappointed in myself for not doing better but at the end of the day it’s just a learning experience. That’s the whole reason I do these EMM’s, they MAKE me get better. The easy thing to do would be to stay in my own back yard and start colts day in and day out. The hard thing is to show up in town and let everyone watch my failures. But it makes me better, keeps me humble, and has brought so many good people into my life.

I learned a lot from this last makeover. One big thing that happened is that I’ve let go of trying so hard to win. I’ve told a lot of people that my #1 goal is to win when I go and with my new mare I just don’t feel that anymore. My main goal for this next one is to do my very best with the horse I’ve got and try to figure out what the perfect job for her would be. Then I want to to advertise her in that way and see if she can end up in the right place. And don’t get me wrong, I still want to win, it’s just not my #1 goal. I’m lacking a lot of knowledge and skills and winning won’t gain me as much as losing normally does. It’s the sting of defeat that makes me dig deep.

Back to Jenny. It looks like she may have found the perfect home! The couple that bought her has an adult son who does cowhorse, this is perfect for her!! I don’t think they actually wanted her and she was the 3rd horse they bought at the EMM. I think her price is the reason she went to the right place.

Unfortunately we are having to rehome our girl, at no fault of her own, finances are just getting tight and beautiful girl like her deserves better. Karen is a 13 year old registered APHA mare that stands about 14hh. She requires a very experienced rider as she is very mareish and she likes to try and dictate what she wants to do. She stands well for grooming and bathing, she tolerates her hooves being messed with (she does best with this after being worked) and she absolutely knows her name and will come to it. She has been used as a broodmare before and throws beautiful colors on foals. She’s a very smart horse and with the right person, could really go any direction, however she is use to western and has been shown barrel patterns in the past.

This girl is my fiancés heart horse but like I said with the rising cost of things, we just can’t afford her right now. Located in Denver City, TX.

My little quarter 🐎 12year old bay mare. She's 15HH. She would be a perfect barrel or heeler prospect. She is UTD on everything and super sweet, current on coggins, worming and having her feet trimed. She's bare foot very sweet on the ground and would around wherever you go. She's still very young and just needs a good job and someone with someone with some time to put in to her. She's currently being ridden and walked everyday, no buck, no bites, no problems, she just needs a job. She can be ridden ba****ck in a halter she will side pass, backup, change lids, walk, trot, lope, go over and throw obstacles.
