🎉🐾 West Chelsea Vet’s First Open House was a HUGE success! 🏥✨

We had an amazing day filled with wonderful people, their adorable pets, and our incredible staff. From behind-the-scenes hospital tours to dental consultations with our board-certified dental tech, there was something for everyone. 🦷🐶

Guests got to enjoy interactive activities like our “Repair a Teddy Bear” station, a button-making station, and even some sweet cotton candy! 🍭💖 And the best part? We wrapped up the day with fun raffles and a whole lot of happy faces. 😊

Plus, celebrating Pride weekend made everything even more special. 🌈🎉

Thank you to everyone who came out and made our first Open House unforgettable! 🐕🧸🎈

🐱 Outdoor time can transform your indoor cat's life!

The sights, sounds, and scents of nature engage your cat's natural hunting instincts in a healthy way while providing exercise and reducing stress and boredom.

Harness Training Tip: Practice indoors for short periods with treats and praise. Gradually increase wearing time and always be patient.

Helping your pet heal at home? Here are 3 simple ways to support their recovery and rehab journey:

🧘‍♂️ Gentle Stretching – Improve flexibility and reduce stiffness with slow, guided stretches.
🐕 Controlled Walks – Short walks in a quiet area help build strength without overdoing it.

Socialization is key to raising a confident, loving cat! 💕 Start early by playing, petting, and handling your kitten to help them feel comfortable with humans. The more love and attention they get, the more they’ll thrive! 😻

Swallowed toys, socks, sticks, even coins—it happens more often than you’d think! 😬

Foreign body removal is one of the most common soft tissue surgeries vets perform. If something gets stuck in your pet’s stomach or intestines, surgery may be the only way to remove it safely and prevent serious complications.

🚨 Signs to watch for:
• Vomiting or gagging
• Loss of appetite
• Lethargy
• Straining to p**p
• Abdominal discomfort

If you think your pet swallowed something they shouldn’t have, don’t wait—early treatment can save their life (and your couch cushions).
