Important Update for Our St. Marks Veterinary Hospital Family

With heavy hearts, we want to let you know that our hospital will be closing its doors on Friday, December 20, at 2 p.m. This wasn’t an easy decision. Reduced consumer demand in the area for primary veterinary care services has hindered our ability to meet our operational goals. We deeply value the trust you’ve placed in us to care for your pets and sincerely apologize for any challenges this change may present to you and your family.

While this chapter is closing, we’re still here for you and your furry family members! We encourage you to visit our partner hospital:
Reade Street Animal Hospital (2 miles away)
address: 146 Reade Street, New York, NY 10013
phone: (212) 519-0245

This location is part of our Thrive community and accepts Thrive Plus members. You will continue to receive the high-quality care you expect at St. Marks Veterinary Hospital, and your pet's records will transfer seamlessly. If you want a copy of your pet's records sent directly to you, please email us at [email protected].

We’re so grateful to have been a part of your pet’s journey and your family’s life. Thank you for the love and support you’ve shown us—we’ll miss you all dearly and hope to see you at Reade Street Animal Hospital.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help.

There are no words to convey our gratitude to Dr. Mikus and her dedication to the betterment of animals lives. This loss has hit our NYC community hard and it's because of the amazing human, mother, veterinarian and animal activist you are.

May you rest easy.

Meet Precious!

Precious is a new patient who came to us due to limping. We found some really tight matting in between her toes that also showed signs of allergies!

Dr. Abrams fixed her up and sent her and her daddy on their way. Precious is a 10 year old Great Pyrenees and will be getting her routine dental cleaning very soon. Precious family really believes in home dental care and so do we! Precious has a toothbrush, CET toothpaste, OraVet chews, wipes and floss at home! Wow!

Does your pet due for a annual dental check? Give us a call or email us today to discuss your pets dental needs today. Did you know that untreated periodontal disease can advance to ocular issues, cardiac disease, bone loss and so much more.

Meet Justice!

Justice is a long time squishy face lover who comes in monthly for his much needed librela injections for his arthritis.

It's made a world of difference for Justice and we couldn't be happier.

Is your pet struggling with mobility, have you tried diets/medications/supplements for arthritis and mobility that don't seem to work?

Give us a call today to discuss if librela would be a good add on for your pets continued care.
