Williams Shakespaw is 1 1/2-years-old, neutered and UTD with vaccinations. A good Samaritan found him tied up and took him to the Brooklyn shelter. Instead of being upset, he was happy to give his paw to all the workers at the shelter, hence the name. Williams is very sweet and good-natured. He is young and very active. He enjoys playing with other friendly dogs. He can get overstimulated when playing from excitement. We will be working with a trainer to help with this. He should not be with young children that can be knocked down when he gets excited and wants to play. William is just so adorable and has the cutest expressions. He has a bit of fear when he has to go into a car, he gets very quiet, but once he is out of the car he is back to his playful self. Located in Queens, NY. Please contact Doreen at [email protected]

From the contact - Chimney is a male and is a little over a year old. He is very good with other cats and dogs. He's very loveable and loves to chill on your lap. He is not neutered yet and might need an update on his vaccines. He is currently located in Bayonne, New Jersey.
Dr. Glungus is also a male and is almost a year old. He also does well with other cats and dogs, though he is a little more shy than his foster brother. He isn't neutered yet either. He's staying with Chimney in Bayonne.
Windscale is a female and is around 2 years old. She is very loveable and doesn't leave your side most of the time. She does well with cats and dogs, though she might need a little time adjust to larger dogs, since she's only been around smaller ones. She isn't spayed yet and might need a vaccine update. She is currently being temporarily looked after by a friend in New York, which isn't far from the others in Bayonne.

Absolutely Perfect Strawberry the Lapcat Still Needs a Forever or Foster Home 🍓😿

Unfortunately Strawberry’s home trial did not work out- it has been revealed that she is in fact a princess 👑 who needs to be your one and only, no other pets please. But don’t worry, she has enough love and personality to fill a home like multiple cats could! She is a cuddly, playful, highly social, resilient, gem 💎 who adores meeting new people and playing/engaging with her humans. She is a FUN cat, a true 10/10! Sadly, she is now isolated to a room away from her resident foster brothers so it is extremely urgent that we find her somewhere else to reside! Do not wait, this little bundle of purrfection will not last! We promise, it doesn’t get better than this little lady.

The vet thinks she's 6 plus. She's s sweet and friendly once she knows you. Bandit is in Brooklyn.

kittens currently located in
Middle Village/Glendale. They are pretty bonded - if we could find someone who would adopt them both that would be optimal, but if we can't, we can't. They are litter box trained and sweet and easy to handle. They were outside my neighbor's house but they have been socializing them and keeping them inside - they had someone who was going to take both boys but it fell through - they are keeping the mom and the sister, who had a broken toe 😢. They can't keep all 4, so they are keeping mom and sis, but they truly care about all 4 and have been really loving!

From the lovely, courageous woman who negotiated the surrender of a neglected cat, generously had him vetted and neutered, and agreed to watch over him until his perfect forever family comes along💪🏼:

George is approx 3 year old. He is talkative (!!), sweet, cuddly, curious, and people oriented. He is interested in everything his human is doing, likes having his person nearby and loves to show affection. He is quite vocal but it is most likely due to the stress of confinement; George calms down when someone is home/ hanging out in the same room with him. He would do well in a home where his people work remotely or are home more than not. My female cats do not get along with him but he is not aggressive towards them and he could probably do well in a home with dogs or cats. He doesn't love being held yet, but loves being pet on his face, head, belly, you name a spot and he's fine with it! He has never hissed at me or tried to scratch me. He loves lying next to his people and just hanging out (will sleep next to your face 🥺). In his previous situation he did not get attention or affection, and was deprived of food and basic hygiene. We believe this person was hoping to breed siamese but clearly was not cut out to care for animals. This sweet sweet boy just wants to be loved in his forever home. 😭.

Sweet and gentle senior calico Butter enjoying butt scratches. She will bring such joy to any home she is in! Butter is a spayed female who has been with us for 2.5 years after her owner was admitted to a nursing home. Beautiful Lola is a silly, attention seeking, affectionate, extremely INTUITIVE, incredible cat who loves being carried around or laying on the chest of her favorite people. She shows her spicy side on occasion like any self-respecting girl cat and her endearing personality immediately fills any room! Adult (est. 5-6 year old), black, spayed female who has been with us for 2.5 years. FIV/FeLV negative, vaccinated Has an easy to manage case of hyperesthesia, which is a neuropathic issue that causes painful episodes in the nerve endings of the tail and haunches. The vet thinks this could very well go away in a home (triggered by environmental stimuli), and even if not, it is controlled with a low dose of gabapentin each morning. She takes her pill like a champ and it is an inexpensive disease to treat. Coexists well with the other kitties at Ollie’s and seems to enjoy having her friends close, but is much more people oriented, and an adoption center environment is too overstimulating for her.
