We are fatigued by the endless stream of cruelty, but then you see a face like Pierre's and you just keep going.
Pierre was left behind to fend for himself when his owners moved. Thanks to a compassionate neighbor, Pierre was snatched up and a few gaurdian angels were able to get him vetted and fixed up. He is estimated at 4 years old and is a total cuddly mush!! The sweetest house guest, easy to get into a carrier- the dream! He is en route to foster #2 and a dental appt for his broken canine is scheduled for this coming week! All good things and only blue skies ahead, now the last step is a loving forever home! How could you not want this lovebug in your life immediately?!

💓 GORGEOUS LILY NEEDS A HOME!!! 💓
Poor Lily is back living at Ollie's Place adoption center for the 2nd time after losing her human. We are just in awe of her resilience, and the innocence and hope in her eyes breaks our hearts. It is our mission to see that she is back in a loving home ASAP.
Lily loves her hammock bed, burrowing into soft blankets, the furminator brush down her spine, being scritched in just the right spot, snacks, catnip, and playing like a kitten when she is in the right mood!
Her only request is that she be the only pet in your home- she can be a bit of a bully to other kitties and was born to be a queen! She was rescued in 2017-2018 from a 'Free Cat' cardboard box on the street, so we don't know what she went through. She adores humans though, and while a little sweet and spicy at first introduction, she loves being with her familiar people- likes to rub on legs, get brushed and relax with company. Quiet as can be and oh so polite, she is the purrrfect house guest.

❤Looking for someone home a lot with a ton of love to give, and someone who loves chatty cats, because boy is he ever!! Purrfect companion for someone retired or lonely❤
Sadly, Hunter does not belong to a group. He was dumped from a home in the Bronx, rescued and nursed back to health by good Samaritans after a bad fight, and for months has been bounced from one foster to the next (he is in his 6th now) and even adopted once until his FIV diagnosis came in. His luck is running out and his situation is challenging with no group overseeing his future. A group of cat lovers have pooled their money to fix his broken canine tooth this Thursday 7/7 (the last remnant of his life on the streets) but after that he has nowhere to go- his current foster can no longer keep him. We are begging for a forever home but open to fosters at this point. He will come home from the vet with liquid oral meds, but he is a sweet guy and that should be no problem. This is desperate. Groups are overrun, no one will accept him. Cats like this need an angel in order to make it.
Hunter's temporary adopters ADORED him and will happily speak with anyone who wants to know more about him- they just did not want to risk transmission to their cats. Sadly, people are not educated about FIV and the stigma puts cats like Hunter at risk for a confusing and miserable life. FIV is not a death sentence, and in fact most vets and rescue groups agree that FIV negative and positive cats can live together in mixed households that are harmonious- there are essentially no cases of transmission outside of the deep bite wounds that happen with unneutered males outdoors. FIV is not AIDS, there is no added daily expense, and FIV cats typically live long full lives and typically die from the normal senior feline diseases. FIV cannot
