FOR 776 DAYS THIS HAS BEEN HIS HOME
**GARY NEEDS A HOME**
2 years ago the police lured this handsome boy who was running loose into their car and got him to safety with us.
Gary is wary of new people and takes some time to trust and warm up to them. We can't blame him, by the looks of the condition he was in, he has the right to question his new friends. Once Gary warms up to you, he is the biggest sweetest friend and protector you could ever have!
Gary is a ladies man and he is not the biggest fan of some men. Gary is very playful, loves to fetch, and he is amazing with other dogs his size.
Gary is not recommended to a home with children as he has shown some resource guarding. He is also not a fan of cats
Whatever amount of time it takes for Gary to get to know and trust you, the time and investment will be worth it!

SAWYER HAS BEEN IN THE SHELTER OVER 5 YEARS
Hi, my name is Sawyer.
This is my page
https://www.facebook.com/SawyerWantsAHome/
You know that story about Tom Sawyer; I am an outspoken fellow just like him.
I was found wandering Glen Cove over 5 years ago, and I just want out from behind these shelter walls so badly that my nickname is Houdini. (Shhh I can magically open gates)
Iโm about 6 years young, very smart, I learn pretty quickly, know my basic commands, and love a good adventure.
I have spent most of my life at the shelter, but like Tom Sawyer, itโs time to move on.
I am dog selective and occasionally get along with dogs my size only, a meet and greet would be required. But would really prefer to be your only fur baby. I am sorry I do not get along with cats.
Older children only (16+)
Wonโt you please take me on an adventure with you?
Sawyer needs a patient adopter to come down & work with him & his trainer . No same day adoptions or shipping . Surrounding states are fine as long as your willing to travel to work with him .

**CARAMEL NEEDS A HOME**
Caramel #20-419. Arrived 11/17/20 at 8 years old.
Caramel came to us in a health crisis due to her obesity. She has slowly shed many pounds and can now even walk a full lap of the shelter trail. Caramel enjoys a short game of fetch but she really prefers the couch potato life. Caramel did have a mammary carcinoma removed at the time of her spay surgery and she will need to be closely monitored by a veterinarian for any additional masses or secondary issues. Caramel needs to be the only dog as she has not done well with meeting other dogs through the shelter. If having a pal at you side to share some veggie stix is your thing, than this is the girl for you. Caramel deserves the happiest years that she has left in a loving home.

Our latest foster celebrates tongue out Tuesday, every day. Please welcome adorable ASH!๐ Ash joins FBRN just before his 5th birthday. ๐ฅณ He was surrendered due to his health issues and changing circumstances of his previous family which did not allow them the time to address his severe allergies.
Ash is one itchy frog dog who needs a lot of TLC to get him healthy. He is riddled with allergy issues and seems to have a yeast infection. He is receiving regular medicated baths while awaiting test results from his vet. Once we know all about this sweet boyโs allergens, weโll be able to create a wellness plan to get him back on track. Allergies can be difficult to treat with but with lots of care and determination, we know Ash can lead a comfortable life. ๐ช
Ash has a big personality, but heโs been well behaved. In fact, heโs a smartie who knows several commands! Ash is crate-trained and hasnโt had any accidents since he arrived in foster care. He comes with the characteristic Frenchie snort and is irresistible even with his fur in its current state.
If you would like to sponsor Ash, please click on the link below. He arrived with no funds in his piggy bank and any contribution would be such a huge help. Ash will send you some air kisses in gratitude! ๐

The recent wildfires that ravaged California proved to be horrific not only to the people who witnessed the event but also to the homeless animals affected. During the onslaught of the wildfires, shelter dogs had to be relocated to ensure their safety. Sadly, this event made it all the more difficul...

MEET SHEP
His page: https://www.facebook.com/ShepDontGiveUp/
Shep is a stunning 9-11 year old boy, He knows all his basic commands, is eager to please and has lots of s***k!
Shep is heart-worm positive and has started treatment, which will have to be continued when he leaves the shelter.
This senior sweetheart is a real gem. He is loving, gentle, well behaved, playful and true to his breed. He is extremely loyal, dedicated and protective of his people.
Shep is looking for a home with a very special Mom or Dad โ a very savvy, Shepherd experienced, human who is committed to him and will cherish him the rest of his life. A home where he can be the one and only apple of your eye; no dogs, no cats, no kids.
Shelter life is difficult for all dogs, but it is especially difficult for Senior dogs. Wonโt someone please open their heart and home and give Shep a chance?
The Barbara Innes Memorial Fund has been created by her family through Shelter Link to help some shelter animals. Barbara had a special place in her heart for Shepherds so her family felt the best use of the fund will be to cover the adoption fee for Shep at Babylon Animal Shelter.
Our sincere condolences go out to Barbara's family. We know she was a much loved member of the family and will be greatly missed.โค๏ธ
