Greatful for 1500lbs of fresh dog food donated. I was able to give to Royetta, Cathy and some to the neighborhood people. Thank you to Roy and cathy for going to get it.

FOUND 9/7/24, Deer Park, case #24-350, female, contact Babylon Animal Shelter to identify/claim, 631-643-9270. If you are interested in adopting, you can come to the shelter, meet the dog, and then put in an adoption application. Up to 5 applications will be taken. Our strays are held 5 days by law and then they will get an exam, Heartworm test, microchip, and spay/neuter, and other medical procedures. Only once that is complete can they be picked up for adoption. You can expect it to take 1-3 weeks before a dog is ready for adoption.

Two days ago Royetta Alston and I removed a deceased dog off of Rockaway Turnpike. Today I received a message from someone about the dog. This lady handles the Brookhaven lost and found page. The dogs name is Willie and he is from 5 towns. I'm glad we could give this family closure. I'm sorry it wasn't on a happy note. Rest in Peace Willie

We just picked up a deceased dog from Rockaway turnpike. Looks like a collie black and white. We brought the dog over to Rockaway Beach Vet. Thank you to the lady who was stopped and helped us. Dog is not chipped. Rest in peace. Thank you to Rockaway Beach vet for everything.
