Dear Clients,
I would like to bring to your attention that there have been unconfirmed reports of the new respiratory illness in New York. I'm convinced that it's only a matter of time before it reaches Manhattan. Consequently, due to its highly infectious and deadly nature, my partner and I have agreed that the right thing to do is to temporarily close the daycare effective 2/1, in preparation for its arrival. HOWEVER, we will be offering walking, day-sitting and pet-sitting (24hr care), services to accommodate our clients' pet care needs. All duties will still be undertaken by the staff that you already know well and your dogs love!
I'm extremely sorry for the inconvenience but in good conscience, we can't stay open and risk any exposure to the dogs in our care in the event of an outbreak. This is not a decision we've made lightly! Please understand that health and well-being of the dogs are the No.1 priority at Wiggly Pups. I wouldn't have it any other way!
In the interim, I would strongly recommend that all clients avoid any pack environments including daycare and dog parks, as well as grooming places. When walking your dog keep a minimum of 10 feet from all other dogs you meet.
I would like to request that all package holders use the remaining days of their packages before 2/1. If not, we can put them on hold until such time that we reopen.
Thank you for your support and PLEASE keep your pups safe!!
If you have any questions please contact Paul directly.
Stay safe,
Paul, Kathy and the Wiggly Pups staff
