UPDATE: SNAKEY IS FOUND!!!!!!!!
THANK YOU all SO MUCH for the great advice and hope you shared yesterday! Late last night I couldn’t sleep (once again) and checked the camera I had set up under the couch and what should I see but…. Snakey?! His head was poking out from literally inside of the framework he had smelled the mouse I laid out (FINALLY) and decided to investigate. No wonder I couldn’t find him, he was INSIDE the couch! I ran outside my room and ripped apart my couch (sorry couch) and lo and behold my baby! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
My tips for anyone who has an escaped snake is to definitely set up cameras like those national geo photographers/detectives 🕵️

Hi friends, Snakey’s owner here 👋
First and foremost I would like to thank you all so much for your support over the years!! You guys are the absolute BEST and kept Snakey and I strong through some really difficult physical and emotional times! Unfortunately I have some bad news. Two nights ago Snakey decided to go on a solo adventure and escaped his enclosure. I’ve searched high and low and set many “mouse traps” and heat traps but he has yet to surface. It’s possible he is outside my apartment at large and the property management is on the lookout as well. I still have some hope he may resurface and ask that you please send out happy thoughts, prayers, and hopes he does too! If you have friends and family who live in San Diego, near crown point they can keep an eye out too and ask them to please don’t be alarmed if they see a 5’ ball python around about. Snakes are friends not foes! Thank you friends! ❤️🐍
