Did you place a photo of your pet on the Central Park Pet Memorial Christmas Tree, aka The Furever Tree? If so, we want to hear from you! We are Marianne Larsen, the Keeper of the Tree, and writer/photographer Larry Closs. In response to numerous inquiries, we’re working on a book about the Tree that will include its incredible history along with many of the most poignant and playful mementos hanging on its branches—photos and inscriptions that celebrate the unwavering love between animal lovers and their pets. To accomplish our goal, we need to identify the owners of the pets in the photos and inscriptions and send them a standard release. If your pet is in the gallery we’ve put together, or on the Tree, please message us with your name, your pet’s name and description (or photo) and your email address. Thanks!
