Katie’s Kitty provides pet sitting and boarding in these areas of New York City:

Before leaving your pet in our care, you will meet with your pet sitter to discuss your pet’s needs, such as food, medication, exercise, playtime, etc.

BOARDING IN OUR HOST HOMES
(no cages, ever!)

We have a net

work of private pet sitter homes throughout NYC and will match your pet with the perfect host home. Your pet will stay in our pet sitter’s home and receive care and affection while you’re away. Our private home pet sitting is available for cats and exotic animals.

• We will feed your pet according to his or her schedule, with the food you normally feed.
• We do not double up without the consent of the client, so unless you give us permission your pet will be the only guest in the home.
• We never board a cat in a home with a cat, unless specifically requested. About our host family homes in NYC:

• All of our sitter homes are pet safe, complete with screens on all windows.

PET SITTING IN YOUR HOME

Our pet sitters will visit your home once or twice per day to provide care and comfort to your pet.

• This includes a half hour of our sitter's undivided attention on your pet.
• During each visit the litter box will be scooped, water bowls will be cleaned and refilled, and food dishes filled according to your instructions.
• Your pet will receive plenty of love and affection.
• Visits may include administering medication to your pets, turning lights off/on, etc.

We had only just met Kingsley weeks before when sad news came: cancer, and in numerous tumors. Like his dad Chris, we were astonished at the timing since he was a new adoption; thus, we are glad he concluded his life with love and care, and we feel honored we were part of it. ⁣

Coco is a very gorgeous (and fluffy) Maine C**n living her best urban kitty life. In her sunny house, Coco likes to do everything from chase treats to play shy. Sometimes she’s inclined to hang in the office, though we think it’s not because of productivity, but because she has dibs on the new chair. We love this sassy girl! 😻⁣

Happy Friday! Today, we’re getting a kick out of Theo and his expressions. Sometimes our cats photograph like they’re about to have a profile article in Vanity Fair, and in Theo’s case, we think he’d be an excellent interview subject on the topics of “dad’s guy versus mom’s guy”, human siblings, and how he eschews dry food. 😻⁣

Today is a Tiny But Mighty Tuesday, and we are spending it with our favorite little ball of sunshine Ray! ☀️ ⁣

Ray is joy to visit from start to finish. We love her natural ability to bunny kick with her back legs, plop herself on our lap, and scoot into the palm of our hand when it’s cupped. (Plus, she’s bossy, so we always give extra pets when demanded!) 😻⁣

It’s marathon season, and Oliver is delighted to announce he will be participating in the 3rd Annual Apartment Jog-Around for More Food. He is very proud of his (mom’s) medals from previous races, and believes that his point of view as an athlete begins with a good, proper stretch on the coffee table. 😹
