(Staten Island, NY) *911* NEEDS IMMED FOSTER/ADOPTER BY FRI, 6/7 for Darling LILY - Sweet & Petite 3 yr F Huskimo (husky/american eskimoX) 40lbs, Good with Dogs and Kids!!!
Poor LILY is the victim of another LANDLORD situation. She was due to go to a family member and their landlord won’t allow them to take her now!! She has to leave by this FRI, 6/7 or risks going to the overcrowded NYCACC.

She is A DOLL BABY - SWEET, PETITE , FRIENDLY and LOVING to ALL. She’s a great apt sized dog BUT as with all huskies/american eskimos, she needs DAILY STRUCTURED EXERCISE and lots of interactivity. She lived with a large male Doberman/pitX and 4 young kids. Unfortunately, she is probably not good with cats because she chases the stray cats that come into or close to the yard!!!

She’s not used to being walked as the owners would just let her out in the yard… but a HUSKY needs to be walked as they are travellers.

She is housebroken, but needs further leashtraining and is a little food funny with other dogs over her food.

She needs someone that KNOWS, UNDERSTANDs and is EXPERIENCED with her breed!

This is KANO, a HANDSOME 2 yr M Brindle Doberman/Shep/PitX. He's 70 lbs of PURE DELICIOUSNESS!! Due to unforeseen circumstances, his owners are moving and can't find a place that will allow him .. SADLY that's the story everywhere these days!!

He's a SWEET SUBMISSIVE FRIENDLY AFFECTIONATE boy who is good with the dog he lives (she's going to a family friend) but his owners never took him to the dog run or socialized him with other dogs ... but when he sees other dogs on walks he never reacts or lunges but is happy and wants to play!! He's AMAZING with YOUNG KIDs as he lives with 5 of them!!

He's never met a cat but because he's so submissive his owners think he would be fine with cats!! He's housetrained, needs some leash training and hasn't been crated since a puppy... but he's NOT destructive and doesn't have separation anxiety!!

MEET Chico - “SWEET and SCRUFFILICIOUS”

My name is CHICO, and I am an 6 yr young Grey Giant Schnauzer. I’m 80lbs of pure SCRUFFLICIOUSNESS. I’m being rehomed due to MOVING.

I’m an incredibly sweet and hopeful dog who is in need of a loving home. I am an adult dog, but I have the energy of a puppy and the warmth of an old soul. I am a very friendly dog who loves to give kisses and snuggle up with anyone who will give me the time of day. I’m good with dogs and kids but because of my size it’s best I go with older kids ages 7 yrs+. I currently live with a 7 yr old girl who is my BFF. I’ve not met any cats so I’m not sure if I would get along with cats and since my breed likes to go after small rodents…it’s a bit risky.

I am an incredibly good boy who is house-trained and knows basic commands like sit, lay down and paw. I am also an incredibly smart dog, and I am always eager to learn new things and impress my humans. My only vice is that I tend to guard my food so it’s best if you feed me away from other dogs and leave me be while I’m eating.I am a medium active dog who loves going on walks and playing with toys, so I would be perfect for an active person/couple/family who loves the outdoors.

This is KAOS.. he’s a handsome 6 yr M White/Tan Hound/PitX … 65 lbs of SWEET AND SADNESS. KAOS’ owner is DYING of Pancreatic cancer and was taken to a hospice. KAOS was placed in a TEMP FOSTER home but the poor guy is CONFUSED and DESPONDENT & LOSING his SH*T inside and this foster now wants him out!! She can’t deal with this and unwilling to understand that KAOS was used to going inside bc his owner was TOO ILL to take him out!!😩. He does go outside as well but it will take time to get him into a routine so WE NEED AN IMMEDIATE NEW HOME/FOSTER HOME for poor KAOS ASAP!! Someone with patience and compassion!!

KAOS has only known his owner since he was a puppy and unfortunately his owner never properly socialized him with other dogs and with lots of people so KAOS is “GUARDED” and “NERVOUS” around new people..but once he gets to know you and warms up to you.. he’s absolutely fine… but he does have some SEPARATION ANXIETY as he was never left alone but SA does away in time. He’s ok with other dogs in passing and is fine with most dogs but has never lived with a dog. He is NOT FOND of UNNEUTERED Males and he’s never met a cat.

He will need someone with a SLOW and COMPASSIONATE HAND who has had EXPERIENCE with LARGE DOGS who have NOT been SOCIALIZED and are NERVOUS and is not afraid to work with him on socializing him more… he’s a SWEET EASY GOING BOY and WORTH the effort!!

This is JAX, he’s a SWEET SILLY 2 yr M Jack Russell Terrier X. His owner passed away and NONE of his relatives can take him. He was dumped at a pet store in Brooklyn, NY but they can’t hold him much longer. He’s a nice boy, friendly, but definitely a nervous nelly being in a new environment. He’s good with other dogs and young kids but unknown with cats. He’s been fine with the female employees but he’s snapped at some of the men that have tried to touch/pet him so he may have an aversion to men.. but we don’t know for sure.. that’s just what’s been observed. He walks fine on a leash and seems to be housebroken. He’s up to date on shots. He’s approx 16 lbs. He’s got a very sweet silly gremlin underbite so he’s prob mixed with a Chihuahua. He’s medium energy and nice apt size.

I was rescued off the streets of West Harlem, NYC and neutered and let loose again but I decided that hot summers and cold winters on the streets were getting rough so I followed a Good Samaritan home and got cozy in his home but every now and then I get wanderlust and have to do a “Houdini” and escape to the great outdoors! I always get caught by another Good Samaritan because I know how to turn on the charm and am friendly enough to turn myself in!!

My foster mom fixed this by putting me on a cat leash and hitching me up on a long leash when she’s out gardening in the yard and then taking me for walks! So I will need someone who’s willing to take me for walks and that satisfies my need to go for a wander in the great outdoors! So I’m seemingly good with other cats but I’m also DOG FRIENDLY!!! I did grow up in the city so I’m used to the city streets, but I must be with someone who is ACTIVE and will give me the daily structured exercise and activity I need. My previous owners hardly took me out so I need further training. I pull a bit & am jumpy and excitable, so I will need leash training and to have better manners. Unfortunately I also need further housetraining as my owners let me go on wee wee pads in the house.

Luckily I’m SUPER SMART, EAGER TO PLEASE and QUICK to LEARN and a prime student for training but I need an active Person/Couple Family that has the time to devote to training me.

I LOVE other dogs and have to say hello to every dog I meet. I’m a little pushy and overwhelming with little dogs because I just want to PLAY PLAY PLAY. I would LOVE to go be with another dog my size or bigger and one that has energy like me! I’ve met a cat but wanted to play with it so I could live with a cat but it would have to be a cat that wouldn’t mind playing with me. I do like to chase squirrels and rabbits when I see them outside. I’m a little jumpy for young children so older kids ages 8 yrs+ would be best.

Even though I’m a petite guy and perfect apt sized.. I would LOVE a fenced in yard so I can do super zoomies and fetch balls to my hearts content but ample time at a dog run or park would be ok.. I just can’t sit at home twiddling my paws anymore.. that is NOT the life for me!

I’m GOOD with EVERYTHING… Dogs, Kids and Cats.. but I don’t get out much so I do get very excited when I see other dogs and do pull a bit on the leash so I’ll need some further leash training or the right leash tools.. but I’m super smart and eager to please so I’ll be a great training student. I’m a medium energy dog but I would love to be active with someone who runs/bikes or goes for long walks/hikes!

I’m mostly a SUBMISSIVE MILD MANNERED POLITE boy but I do get bursts of energy/excitement when I’m super HAPPY. I grew up with a baby so I’m wonderful with young kids and I’m very easy going around them. I’m housebroken, crate trained and don’t have any separation anxiety. I’m also not destructive and not a resource guarder. My owner really raised me very well because I’m just SOOO GOOD!!! I’m would love to be with a family that has kids another dog and/or cat! I’m just the PERECT TRIFECTA!!

This is KING, a 2 yr M Blue/White Amstaff/PitX. He is 60 lbs of PURE SUGAR SWEETNESS. He is being given up by his owners due to a CHILD CONFLICT. King is just not comfortable with the irratic sounds and behavior of the resident rambunctious toddler. He’s not aggressive towards him but he just gets very agitated and anxious when the toddler is fussing and running around like toddlers do… that being said.. he’s best in a home with older kids ages 12 Yrs+. He is GOOD with DOGS.. but unfortunately NO CATS for him.

King is SOO FRIENDLY and AFFECTIONATE, EASY GOING and FUN LOVIN’. He’s a medium energy dog and loves to go for long walks/runs/hikes but also laying on the couch next to you. He’s a GOOD LOYAL OBEDIENT DOG and needs a person/couple/family that will spend lots of quality time with him!! PLS SAVE HIM FROM GOING TO THE SHELTER!!!

(Bergenfield, NJ) MEET ANUBIS!! Sweet Silly 2 yr M Chocolate Red PitbullX. He’s a victim of circumstance and saved from a bad situation and now the family has NO TIME for him!!! He’s about 60 lbs and UTD on shots and neutered. He’s super friendly and affectionate and like most pitbulls very strong and energetic.. But he’s eager to please and quick to learn and just needs someone that can devote time to him to give him the structured daily exercise/discipline he craves and needs. He’s never lived with another dog but seems to be fine with them in passing just gets really excited when he sees them… the family never introduced him or socialized him with another dog and kept him away from other dogs on walks.

I’m a DARLING SWEET PETITE girl but I’m a TOUGH TOMBOY at heart. I’m fun loving and happy go lucky, but I had a rough past and I can be guarded with strangers. I’m friendly to most people but like I said I’m leary. I just need to be introduced properly and I’m not fond of people that get in my space too fast and lean over me but If you bring me a McDonalds cheeseburger with no pickles/onions.. I’m your instant BFF!!

Unfortunately NO CATS for me and an ADULT ONLY HOME. I would love a home with a fenced in yard so I can run and play to my hearts content but I’m a perfectly apt sized and as long as I get LOTS OF ACTIVITY outside.. I will be fine living in an apt. I’m also crate trained! I actually prefer it!
