Hello all my lovely friends! It’s been quite a wild few months and I want to catch you up on everything. I kind of went dark there for a bit, but it was all for good. This June, my husband and I welcomed our son Ethan to the world and have been basking in the sunshine of parenthood for the last few months. We are totally smitten by our little man, but I am ready to get back out there and hang with my fur friends again! Sooooo to commemorate the end of my maternity leave and summer 2021, I am opening up slots for a Boutique Session! There is limited availability, so if you’re interested, snag your spot! I will link the registration page in my bio. If there is a lot of interest I will add additional spots or another date, so reach out if it’s full!

Happy New Year! 2020 has been a year of uncertainty and a lot of fear, but it showed us what really matters and what is worth putting our energy into. You all surprised me when, during the strangest times of our lives, your support of my small business never wavered. Being able to continue offering socially distanced sessions brought a sense of norm to myself and my wonderful clients who met me, masked, all across the city. Our shoots were the perfect distraction and exactly what we all needed. New puppy shoots were a hot commodity, and clients with long time pals finally had the time to get in that shoot they always dreamed of. So yes, 2020 sucked, but there were some beautiful bright lights amongst the darkness that helped us get through this together. So, thank you for your support and love during this hard year. I feel ready to go into the unknown future with you all in my corner. 💕

A pup portrait in a photographer’s dream lighting, backlit by yellow maple leaves and burnt orange sunshine. Who better to pose here than Loki, with his stunning auburn eyes filled with warmth. If only Loki could talk, what stories he would share.

It’s not surprising that many of my clients have senior pups, but it may surprise you that they are some of my favorite sessions ever. Loki is a 13 year old Vizsla who has been with his mom for her entire adult life (since she was 19!!). For those of you who have had a similar journey with a pet, you know it’s one of profound significance. They were there through the tough 20’s. The bad breakups, the long work nights, the insecurities and the lonely Saturday nights. Loki, in particular, was literally by his moms side while training for marathons and figuratively there for weightlifting competitions! So many years together means an undeniable bond. So no, it’s not surprising that after all these years you’d finally push yourself to get those professional photos you’d thought about 5...10...13 years ago. All the years, all the stories you’ve shared together, always shines through in the photos making them incredibly meaningful to me. We are beyond lucky to have these creatures in our lives and these memories are worth everything. How did your pet help you in those uncertain years?

Mrs. Peeps, the sweet, cuddly, and downright adorable 12 year old that you should all be lucky enough to meet. She has a permanent smile on her little face that makes it hard to put the camera down. Peep has finally been placed by the wonderful people at into a loving retirement home where she will get all the belly rubs she so desires until the end of time! We can all hope to have it as good as Peeps in our old age 🥰

I wish I had the space to foster, but it can be hard in NYC, so I use my camera as a way to give back by donating photo shoots to hard to adopt pups and providing rescue groups with photos that stand out. You don’t have to foster to be a part of the rescue world, there are many ways to get involved and give an extra hand! Reach out to local rescues to find out how you can participate in saving some lives 🥰

“I had never had a dog before and I live alone - I searched far and wide to find a dog to adopt. When I first picked him up, he was so scared and timid ... he wouldn't even eat treats! Now he loves to play and will eat almost anything you offer him :) I named him Ozzie after the Land of Oz (from the Wizard of Oz) - he's my magical escape dreamland from NYC's dark times. Oz also means strength/bravery/courage in Hebrew. He's the happiest little pup I've ever met - he loves everyone and everything! He makes new friends everyday, and loves being spoiled by his grandparents & aunts!”

“I adopted Ozzie on May 6, 2020 in the heart of the pandemic. He is two years old - born on March 18, 2018. He is a retired show dog, and needed a new home after two years traveling in crates, performing, and never having had a chance to play! Once I learned that I would be working from home indefinitely, I knew I wanted to adopt a pup...” check back tomorrow to hear more of adoption story!
