Ted (black and white) and Oliver (white and black) were rescued in Queens from a managed cat colony. They’ve been loving their new luxurious indoor life; and making friends with humans, dogs, and other cats! They only thing they’re missing now is YOU! Adorable and social Jackson was dumped in Bed-Stuy, where he was being cared for by a security guard. Jackson is a smart guy and he knew how to get help! Soon, he was on his way to a vet to get checked out and ready for adoption. 2 year old Jackson is an easy-going guy who is never fussy about food or litter. He likes to play, and he’s very friendly and outgoing. Jackson likes other cats, and can also be the only cat in your home. He’s not a fan of dogs. Butler was found in Queens, seemingly dumped. Poor guy was hungry and was sick with an upper respiratory infection and ringworm. 2 year old Butler is a very easy cat. He’s extremely outgoing and affectionate. He came out of the carrier right away and is comfortable on the couch with his fosterers or in the middle of the floor, pondering and lounging. He even comes when you call him! You can pick him up for a minute or two. He loves rubbing up against you. He’s very gently communicative when he’s done being pet but still wants to sit next to you. Butler enjoys heights and may scale the kitchen counters to get on top of cabinets or make his was on top on an armoire… maybe a good cat tree needs to be in his future! He also enjoys wand toys. Aerith dressed as Chapell Roan for Halloween, on her way to the Pink Pony Club 🎠🎀

Meet two year old Aerith! She was rescued from a backyard in Queens. She turned out to be a sweet girl after she acclimated to indoor life; It took her a few weeks to settle, but when she does, she is incredibly loving. This beautiful petite tiger wants nothing more than pets. Aerith will greet you with adorable meows, as if saying “Hi mom. You’re here! Pet me, pet me, please!” She is a lap cat in training, a professional head-butter, and a master in making biscuits. She is playful with toys–She loves the turbo scratcher and ball toy. She is an absolute bundle of joy and she is ready for her forever home! Let Aerith melt your heart and put a smile on your face.  Aerith is FIV and FeLV negative, spayed, and up to date on shots. Adorable Leo Tabby appeared to have been dumped, because he’s definitely an indoor guy! His rescuer had been feeding him outside and noticed how friendly and affectionate he was… and decided to rizz him up and get him ready for his new home! 4 year old Leo Tabby is a gentle guy who’s not fussy about food or litter. He’d be a great solo cat, and he also gets along with other gentle cats. He loves rolling on his back and showing off his belly. He has a joyful spirit and loves to play. Sandy is a true lover boy! This 3 year old is very relaxed and will sleep almost anywhere all day, although he loves a good blanket to do his biscuit making or a tight corner to squeeze into. He gets his bursts of playful energy. He will put up with a lot before making his boundaries clear– in the sense of picking him up, holding him, kissing, and squeezing him. When he’s had enough, he’ll let you know with a slow and gentle nip, but never to hurt you. We think he might’ve been hurt in the past; if he thinks he did something wrong and you put a hand up near him, he’ll flinch– But he’s such a sweet soul. He loves to snuggle either in your arms, on your lap, or right next to you. For someone who has had a rough start to his life, he still truly has a lot of love to give. He’s perfectly fine being left alone for most of the day, but he craves companionship and will try to always be near you when you’re home. He’s very treat-oriented. He purrs constantly when he’s happy and loves to do face rubs with you when he’s in an especially good mood! He still has a bit of food insecurity, likely from his time outdoors, and will devour any food put in front of him. If he’s hungry or begging for food, he will be vocal about it and will even try to get to the bag. Sandy is shy and will hide initially. After some petting, a few treats, and a bit of time, he does however tend to warm up to them. He also gets a bit nervous if he hears noise that sounds like someone coming into the house but quickly gets over it once the noise subsides. Sandy would be best with a patient, experienced owner. He was not accepted by the cats in the colony he was rescued from, so he may be best as a single cat, or maybe with one other low-key cat. Boo and Scout are three month old female kittens. Boo is the all black kitten and she is an absolute cuddle bug; she is a lap cat and will sleep with you. Scout is the tortie who is a smart little lady that comes when she is called. She also enjoys being a lap cat and listens when her humans talk to her. Jackie LaManna is a valuable healthcare volunteer at KittyKind. She is also a surgical, veterinarian assistant at the Schwarzman Medical Center (AMC). Please share her efforts to raise money for the AMC's Buddy Fund grant. The AMC gives affordable care to pet parents who can't afford to treat their pets with cancer. Princess’ owner passed away and now this sweet senior gal needs a new home. A lady in her older years, Princess is still active and enjoys toys, but she’s also a relaxed and calm independent cat. She’s social when meeting new people and cuddly with her humans. She is a lap cat and will lay by your side. Princess is about 13 years old and had a recent wellness exam including dental and bloodwork. She’s up to date with her shots.

Leo Grey is a very suave and cool guy. I mean, have you seen his silver tux? Stunning. And he’s intimidated by NO ONE. Not even a big dog! 3 month old Leo makes friends wherever he goes– with cats, dogs, and especially people. He was rescued with several other kittens in Queens and has been greatly enjoying his time in his foster home, but he’d love a human or humans to call his own. Vaeda (calico female) and Veer (tabby male) are bonded 6 month old kittens looking for their forever home together. These siblings love playing together; and when play time over, they will tuck themselves in to a cat bed to cuddle and groom each other. Vaeda is the most outgoing of the pair, and could be the perfect lap cat… That is, if she didn’t love pets so much she wriggles right out of your lap! Her right eye has corneal scarring, which is not a health concern, and adds a look of mystery to this cuddly kitten. Veer is more timid than his sister, but once you’ve earned his trust, you’ll be rewarded with purring and biscuits …and eventually he will work his way on to your lap as well! Torta was trapped as part of a TNR project when he was about 4 months old. During recovery from neuter, he showed that he is very sweet and calm and wanted the indoor life! Torta is sweet and gentle, and quickly showed his soft side shortly after rescue. He loves to eat, cuddle with people and play with other cats. Gray Grand showed up at a managed colony with a very deep wound on his side. The original plan was to get Gray’s wound healed and send him back out to the colony, but it turned out Gray had other plans. Gray had LED light therapy for his wound. Light Therapy was developed by NASA, so Gray is a pretty special cat. Once Gray was feeling better, he showed everyone how friendly and fun he was. He’ll tell you when it’s dinner time, and he loves to be pet and rub his head on everything. Because of Gray’s trauma, he should be a single cat. These two beauties, Lenny and Houdini, were rescued during a trap-neuter-return mission for a backyard colony… and were obviously well-suited for indoor life! Both Houdini (with his gray smudges on his head) and the almost solid white Lenny (with two different color eyes?!) are friendly and funny guys. Houdini is pretty low key for a cat under a year. Lenny is more rambunctious. Both are very affectionate and ready to invite you into their fuzzy family. Houdini and Lenny are FIV and FeLV negative, neutered, and up-to-date on shots. Felix is a playful 5 month old kitten ready to find his family. Felix loves to play, especially with other cats, and will do best with another cat versus by himself. Bowie, at one year old, has proven to be a total love panther while he has stayed at his foster’s home. He loves to play and chase the willing other kitties; and is a calm enough presence not to get into any fights with any of the others (usually). He would do fine, likely, with another cat, though it would depend on the personality, so a trial is recommended. He is totally affectionate with humans and follows his foster around chatting away looking for a chance to sit on my lap for snuggles. That said, he is mellow enough to give his people distance once he’s had his fill and he sees that his people are busy on the computer etc. He is grateful for whatever time his humans can share together and greets them with excited kisses and cuddles when the opportunity comes. Bowie can be occasionally quite vocal, but only when he’s upset or not getting his way. An adorable, happy, loving cat! Email [email protected] to apply!!

Charlie, a 10 year old female, lost her beloved person. Unfortunately it’s been discovered that Charlie does not like other cats, so no friends or family can take her. She grew up with children visiting, and is always patient and gracious with them Charlie is a beautiful classic calico, primarily white with cute emo bangs and a striped tail. She is cautious at first, but once she knows you, she’ll jump to sit next to you. Charlie and even started spending short stints on her foster’s lap. She is not demanding, and she loves to watch bird television. She is an inside cat, even though the squirrels, insects, and other creatures on the deck intrigue her. Charlie likes to snuggle. Frankie was found scrounging around garbage cans so small and malnourished that the Good Samaritan who rescued her thought she was a kitten (vets estimate she’s anywhere from 1 to 5 years old). Vet care, an adequate diet, and lots of love in a foster home helped this girl recover and blossom. What she really did NOT like, however, was the presence of others cats in her foster home, though she is a big fan of humans! Now as a solo cat in her new foster home, Frankie has bloomed into a lovebug. She loves being near you, follows you around (sometimes so eagerly that she gets underfoot!), sleeps with you, and sits with/on you. Previously starved for affection as well as food, she loves attention and petting and enjoys her meals with gusto! She is learning about toys and delights in having you play with her (a teaser wand is a favorite.) Still uncertain about people, she might be skittish at a sudden movement or loud noise or might give a quick nip when overstimulated or swat you as you walk by, but this behavior is decreasing as she gains confidence and trust. In fact, in a very short time, she has evolved from being a cat who hated being picked up to one who enjoys being held … until she looks at you with eyes asking to be put down. Speaking of eyes, she has such expressive eyes. When her foster mom talks to her, Frankie pays attention with a look suggesting she understands! Or, when you’re watching TV, she’ll look at you lovingly for minutes on end, until you invite her to join you and then rewards you with cute, chirping noises. Frankie would do best in a home with a patient person, no other cats or young children. She is negative for FIV and FeLV, spayed, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Two year old Belle loves loves loves to be the center of attention. When she wants something, she lets you know by twirling like a prima ballerina and singing!
