Our Adoption Procedure
Once you've found the cat of your dreams and wish to begin the adoption process, email our Adoption Manager (adopt@anje

lliclecats.com) or click on the links above to fill out an application online. Once your application is approved, we schedule you to attend a seminar in cat care that lasts about 75 minutes. We invite both experienced and novice alike and are presently offering this as an online group seminar via Zoom or Skype. Then you would sign the adoption papers, pay the adoption fee, and make arrangements for the cat to be moved to your home. We always do a home visit which is both reassuring to the cat when it is being introduced and to the foster who has taken care of the cat. Presently we are doing home visits with FaceTime or Zoom to confirm you have secure windows, no toxic plants and a generally safe environment for a cat. Then we coordinate pick up by the adopter or drop off by the foster, depending on what both parties are comfortable doing. The adoption fee is $150 for one cat under 7 years old, $75 for one cat 7 years and older. This fee includes initial shots, microchip, FIV FeLV test, deworming, and spay/neuter. We believe it is much kinder to adopt kittens with another kitten or cat unless there is already a cat or a very cat-friendly dog in their new household, and for this reason, we generally do not adopt out single kittens.

🐾 URGENT - KITTEN FOSTERS NEEDED! (NYC AREA) 🐾

These 4 kittens are losing their temp foster and desperately need a place to go. They are 8–9 weeks old, can easily be held, are affectionate, playful, and craving space to stretch, explore, and be loved.

Since they are so young we would like them to be fostered in pairs. If you prefer 1 cat, consider their mother (video in post ) who is young , sweet and is also losing her foster home.

Byzantium is safe! We pulled her from the Manhattan ACC at-risk list and went straight to the vet. Please honor your pledges for Byzantium 224669 via PayPal or Venmo to help give her the best care possible. At only 6 lbs, we need to figure out why she hasn't been able to gain weight. Bloodwork and urinalysis results are pending and we anticipate doing an ultrasound. Plus she will need a high-grade dental once she's strong enough. Champ is looking for a foster or adopter in the NYC area.

This sweet boy is affectionate with his current foster, but will take time to adjust in a new home. Champ survived outside for years after his owners left him behind. When we rescued him, he was already partially blind, and he was utterly defeated in body and spirit.
Today, Champ is healthy and head butts his caregiver for affection, makes biscuits on her lap and is a great couch buddy! He still needs to be approached slowly because of his vision loss, but he always perks up when he hears a friendly voice.
Champ, who is 8 years old, is in need of a new foster or adopter. He can be a solo cat or go into a home with a cat that is not too submissive

Foster or Adopter needed for older pair of kittens: We have 2 pairs of 10 month old tabby kittens looking for new homes. They're fully vetted and ready to go to a foster or adopter home. They are adorable, sweet and playful, but have spent a lot of time alone during their formative months due to their rescuer's work schedule. Because of this, they haven't been around people enough to feel secure. They will play with you, but will scoot away when approached until they feel safe. They are not aggressive at all, but need a patient socializer who can bring out their kitten personalities. We know they have potential as we have seen their siblings blossom when going into a new home. Doogie & Blondie are cousins, and F***y and Fiona are sisters. Ruby urgently needs a foster or adopter with another cat to live life outside of her cage!

Ruby is a sweet 4 year old girl who is urgently looking for a new foster or a forever family with another cat. Ruby loves other cats - she was bonded with a previous foster sibling as well as her sister before she was in Anjellicle's care. She will be shy at first and may need some patience, but she is longing for her new furry friend. We are desperate to find a home for Ruby as she has now been living in a cage for almost a year after an unfortunate series of circumstances.

ADOPT US! Bloom and Burrow are playful, sweet siblings who bring a loving energy wherever they go. Almost 8 months old, they turn strangers into friends and can smooth over any awkward silence with purrs and head butts. Bloom (black male) is a clever fella who loves wand toys and laps. Avid couch cuddler Burrow (tux female) enjoys playing with her brother when she isn’t asking for kisses on her pink nose. The B siblings adore each other and need to be adopted together.
