Our staff provides comprehensive wellness, illness and emergency examinations for dogs and cats of all life stages. At Hudson Animal

Hospital, prevention of disease is our main goal. Therefore, we recommend annual examinations, vaccinations, dental hygiene and other health safeguards. Should your pet become ill or injured we also offer cutting-edge medical and surgical care in our facility. Our goal is to practice the highest quality medicine and surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education. We are extremely passionate about our profession. The entire Hudson Animal Hospital healthcare team is committed to providing personal attention to the unique concerns of each individual pet owner.

Dr. Rousseau is a board-trained veterinarian who specializes in abdominal ultrasound and internal diagnostics for pets. A graduate of the Université de Montréal – Faculté de Médecine Vétérinaire (2000), he has led critical care departments in top multi-specialty hospitals across Manhattan, San Diego, Westchester, and Fairfield County.

In 2014, he founded Nomad Veterinary Specialty Services, bringing advanced mobile imaging directly to clinics and patients in need. Dr. Rousseau is also an award-winning mentor and passionate educator.

Outside of work, he enjoys photography, ice hockey, and restoring his old house with his family.
