We are so happy to announce that Han Solo is going to be joining Ashley and Larry's growing family! Ashley & Larry are coming to meet him and bring him home this Monday. He will be joining his full siblings Penelope and Murray (and Penelope happens to be his littermate). Han is an AKC miniature poodle, and he is truly stunning. Ashley is keeping him intact, and we will be having a Han litter in the future. Han is a sweet, mellow, gentle boy. Han is looking forward to meeting his mamma, pappa, and brother and sister in a few days!

Birdie has found her forever family! Almost two weeks ago Z, Laura, Eliza and Noah came to bring sweet Birdie home. This family has been wanting a dog for a long time, they first reached out to me two years ago looking for a pup, but they wanted to wait for the right timing, and the right dog for their family. When they saw Birdie was available - Laura reached out to me again. We set up a video call, and I think we all just knew it was the right fit. Birdie LOVES children, and has the perfect temperament for their family (really just such a good personality overall). Laura was looking for a companion for herself, being home most of the time, and a dog that would make a good friend, companion, and gentle playmate for her kids - and in turn Birdie was wanting a family she could laze about with, someone to snuggle her, and children who would play games of fetch and tug with her. I am so thankful to this family for giving our sweet Birdie such a loving home and making her dreams come true. Laura has sent me some pup-dates about Birdie, and she is doing so well and is so happy with this family. We are wishing you all many years of good health and happiness together.

Aussiedoodle "breeder" hoarded 150 dogs. Dogs were eating eachother!!!!! She PURCHASED many of these dogs for between 2k - 20k EACH from other presumably reputable breeders. She purchased them with breeding rights. Poor babies. I still say that video interviews with prospective clients go a LONG way in preventing sales that should not take place. This woman was living in her car, because the hoarding had gotten so bad. A simple video interview would have prevented some of these dogs from winding up there, but more than likely she would not have agreed to have a video interview in the first place.

Luna got a haircut! Much needed. It's really perplexing to all of us here how she can look almost exactly like her father with long hair, and then almost exactly like her mother when she's shaved. But she really does. The puppies missed her dearly while she was out, and I diligently wiped her paws and teats down with some rubbing alcholhol and water before letting her back in to nurse. She will ONLY nurse them now when I take them out of the whelping box. So here we are...gotta do what you gotta do. Next week they level up to their new set up.

We are going down this weekend to pick up this sweet, beautiful girl. We are taking her to evaluate. While I don't know yet whether Penny will be in need of a new forever home or guaridan home, I am looking forward to seeing her again for the first time in years! From what I gather, Penny is a sweet, well behaved girl. We will keep you posted!

Since 2020, it seems like one huge disaster just rolls into the next. The reality is that things go wrong, we can pretty much count on it. Whether it's a hurricane, flood, wildfire, tornado, power outage, or drone invasion 🤪 - something weird and "unexpected" is right around the bend. It's 2025 and we are Americans, so let's expect the unexpected. Take this as a PSA. Get ready NOW. Your dog is counting on you to think ahead for them. For each 30 lb dog, you'll need about 1 gallon of water per day. You should prepare for a MINIMUM of 3 days, but if you can - prepare for a week. Canned food stores well, as does dehyradted food. Dehydrated food is lightweight, but you'll need to store more water. Kibble, while not best for day to day, can be a life saver in an emergency. You don't want to be trying to buy food and water in the middle of an emergency. If you have to evacuate with your pet, or travel with them, they are at an increased risk for getting lost or running away. Would you use a microchip? A GPS collar? A tattoo? ID on their collar? These are all options. A combination may be a good idea. Having a GPS collar, leash, and food and water for your dog factored in to your families emergency prep bags/plan is a good idea. Planning ahead for a simple 3 day power outage is a great place to start.

They are outgrowing their newborn collars, almost ready to size up to their puppy collars which they should remain in for the duration of their time here with us. They are beggining to take steps, like potatos with legs. I'll get some video of that today of they let me. Introducing Ginger! Ginger, Lavender collar female, is a mini goldendoodle from Luna & Mac's Christmas Eve litter. All of the puppies on this litter have either wavy or straight coats and are fully furnished (will be fluffy). Ginger was the 5th born puppy in this litter. She is by far the smallest puppy in the entire litter, weighing in at only 10.2 oz. While healthy, I am always concerned about the little ones weight gain and I like to make sure they are really gaining well before these photo sessions. Ginger is not a weakling, she is just small! Although mom is about 30 lbs and dad is about 22 lbs, I feel like she might only get to about 20 lbs. Ginger is in competition with Moose for the darkest red puppy in the litter, and she has a very smooth coat (maybe straight?). I love these mahogany pups, as they remind me of my Cliffy man. Introducing Holly! Holly, Orange collar female, is a mini goldendoodle from Luna & Mac's Christmas Eve litter. All of the puppies on this litter have either wavy or straight coats and are fully furnished (will be fluffy). Holly was the very 6th born puppy in this litter. She is the 2nd smallest female, and the 3rd smallest puppy in the litter. Holly weighs in at 11.2 oz. I think she'll be in the 22-25 lbs range but again, at this stage in her development that is just a guess based on the size of her parents and where she weighs in at this moment in time in relation to her littermates. Among the girls, each puppy is completely unique. Holly is the ONLY dark red female with strong abstract markings. Her sister cookie, also has abstract markings, but Cookie's color takes more after Luna. Holly definitely takes after her grandfather Clifford in color (but she is not the darkest). Holly was not interested in having her picture taken, and struggled the entire time to get back to her mama. Cookie felt the same way, and was quite vocal with her protest. For a newborn pup, this is completely understandable, and I hate to disturb them for photos but I think there is value in having some nice baby photos taken. They'll never be this litter again! Introducing Cookie! Cookie, Beige collar female, is a mini goldendoodle from Luna & Mac's Christmas Eve litter. All of the puppies on this litter have either wavy or straight coats and are fully furnished (will be fluffy). Cookie was the very 10th born puppy in this litter. She is a big girl, tied with her brother Elvis for the LARGEST IN THE LITTER, which is something for a female. I expect her to grown to be just like mama, about 32 lbs. She weighs in at 13.2 oz. Cookie has a large white blaze on her chest, white paws, and MIGHT have a white snout as well (time will tell!). She also has a white star on her forehead. Cookie's coloring and I think her facial structure as well takes after mama (dad's definitely in there though). Introducing Noel! Noel, Yellow collar female, is a mini goldendoodle from Luna & Mac's Christmas Eve litter. All of the puppies on this litter have either wavy or straight coats and are fully furnished (will be fluffy). Noel was the very 1st born puppy in this litter. She is the 2nd largest female, but is the 5th smallest pup on the litter overall (the girls are mostly much smaller than the boys). I am guessing Noel will be about 25 lbs, though truthfully it's still much too early to tell. She weighs in at 11.6 oz. She is the only parti girl, and she might have a wavy coat. Introducing Boots! Boots, Brown collar male, is a mini goldendoodle from Luna & Mac's Christmas eve litter. All of the puppies on this litter have either wavy or straight coats and are fully furnished (will be fluffy). Boots was the 11th, and last born puppy in this litter. He is the 3rd largest puppy in the litter at 12.8 lbs, and my current educated guess is that he'll be about 30 lbs. He is a red abstract male, with lots of white on his chest, and his paws, and possibly even a white snout (only time will tell as the hair grows in). It's hard to say at the moment exactly where his coat texture will land. His coat definitely reminds me of Luna's coat, but I think his facial structure is more like dad. Introducing Darth Tater! Darth Tater, Navy collar male, is a mini goldendoodle from Luna & Mac's Christmas eve litter. All of the puppies on this litter have either wavy or straight coats and are fully furnished (will be fluffy). Darth Tater was the 7th born puppy in this litter. Tater is currently the 2nd smallest of the males, and the 4th smallest pup in the entire litter as just 11.4 oz. As I write this, I have to double check if he has any white on him at all, he seems to be mostly red to me. Darth Tater seems to me to be the spitting image of his father, less a little bit of white.
