We know how hard it can be to capture that perfect image without hiring a professional. So, we were inspired to honor this particular “holiday” by sharing some expert advice! 🐩

1️⃣ The word photography literally means drawing with light, so make sure you have plenty to work with. Natural daylight is always best.

2️⃣ As they say, a tired dog is a happy dog, so make sure your pup has gone on a nice walk or had a good playdate ahead of time.

3️⃣ Make sure the background is clean and not too distracting. The focus is your dog!

4️⃣ The most captivating photos are usually taken at the dog’s eye level. This often means sitting.

5️⃣ As you channel your inner Avedon, please feel free to post images using . We’ll feature our faves!
