We are heartbroken. A mama dog, who had just given birth, was struck by a bullet and didn’t survive. Her babies are now orphaned — too young to understand what happened, too innocent to face this world alone.

They need us now more than ever. We are doing everything we can, but we can’t do this without you.

This is Chino.
He doesn’t understand why his person isn’t coming back.
He doesn’t know why the house is so quiet.
He only knows that he’s still waiting… and no one walks through the door.

Chino’s beloved owner passed away, leaving him completely alone in the only home he’s ever known. A kind neighbor visits once a day to bring him food and water—but the rest of the time, he sits there… heartbroken, confused, and grieving.

He still runs to the door when he hears a sound.
He still searches for the person who isn’t coming back.
💔 He’s mourning. And he’s doing it all alone.

Another kind soul has offered to take Chino to the vet, but he can’t leave the house until a foster steps up.

He doesn’t need much—just a soft bed, gentle words, and someone to show him that love still exists. That his life still matters. That better days are ahead.
