Zaiya's knotted coat required a short trim for now, but with the right approach, her coat can become a stunning asset. Certain coat types are more prone to knotting, and Zaiya's owner mentioned she bites the brush during brushing. I advised her to designate a specific brushing area, like the kitchen counter, and reward Zaiya with high-quality treats during sessions. Starting with 5-minute sessions will help Zaiya gradually become comfortable with longer brushing periods.

Typically the grooming is done in the kitchen sink and on the counter right next to it, keeping the work area neat throughout the grooming session.
