Happy weekend 🏃
Arlo & I ran a little over 7k today.

We’re getting ready for our rescheduled UltiMutt 5k taking place April 12th. I will be taking some time off to travel but it won’t be a long trip like the original September dates 😭 still upset everything was cancelled due to the hurricane 🌀 but glad we were safe while down south.

I will post dates as soon as I have them confirmed !

Remember that dogs tend to not show discomfort like we do! They might be cold even if they don’t show any clear signs.
Consider shorter walks depending on your dog’s age, coat type, and weather conditions. Try indoor activities: scent work, hide & seek, fetch, tug, recycling shredding, or puzzle feeders!

When buying coats look for insulating fabrics that cover major joints (hips/thighs and shoulders) and the belly.

My guys wear a hoodie with a thick winter coat over. I also use Musher’s Secret on their paws. We wipe paws and underbelly after every walk so they don’t lick any salt. I’m gonna try to get them shoes for next winter though :)
