Last night around 11pm Agnes got a call from Bonnie (Lost Dogs of BK Page) about a loose dog in a courtyard a few minutes away. She did a walk through and initially didnt see him, until she was about to get back in the car. After he bolted a few times and over an hour of baby talk and slow approaching, she got him! Thank you to Bonnie, Jen from @nycscr 🐾 as well as Jimmy from the NYC Animal Emergency facebook group for all the phone support so late last night. Pickles is home 🐾

A couple came into Buddys half an hour before closing to tell us about 4 baby opposums trapped in the sewer on the corner. Agnes immediately contacted members of the Emergency Animal Rescue facebook group she is in to get someone out here. Within minutes 3 rescuers were on their way. Agnes and Frannie stayed with the babies and tried calling NYPD and FDNY for help to lift the sewer grate but they refused. No big deal, once everyone arrived with crobars in tow, the rescue was on! Big shout out to Jimmy Howard and badass Raleigh who you see jumping in the sewer. Also thank you to Frannie's friend Joey and his whole crew for coming out to help lift the grate. And to our customers who came out for moral support ❤️ Babies are on their way to a wildlife rehabber, mom was unfortunately dead. And no she wasnt playing possum we triple checked 🐭 As usual community effort saves the day - GOOD JOB TEAM! ❤️🐾 #animalrescue #williamsburg #nyc
