Our team at Riverside Veterinary Care on Columbus thanks you for being an important part of our family! We wanted to share our upcoming holiday hours with you.

Labor Day Hours: We will be open Saturday, August 31st, and closed Sunday September 1st and on Labor Day, Monday, September 2th. We will reopen for normal business hours on Tuesday, September 3rd.

Medications: If you pet is taking medication, please check your supply now as it will be difficult to refill during the holiday weekend. If you are running low, please call us at 212-787-1993.

Food Dangers: While we all know people food can often be harmful for our pets, it is especially important to remember this around the holidays. Avoid sharing any sweets or leftovers with your furry best friend. By keeping these potentially toxic foods out of your pet’s reach, you will not only ensure the safety of your pet, but it will help keep the extra pounds off!

If you are traveling with your pet, please familiarize yourself with the closest emergency care before you need it! Signs of dehydration in pets include (but are not limited to) dry nose, excessive drooling, lethargy, sticky gums, vomiting, and/or diarrhea. If your pet exhibits any of these signs, please contact us right away.
