WARNING: Heartwarming tear jerker ahead! This is Mercy, she came to us from ACC with two completely infected, beyond repair, eyes. Dr. Campbell did enucleation surgery to remove the infected eyes and put her out of pain. She has now been swiftly adopted (how could you not?! Just look at her!) to a very loving happy home. Blind cats are, while disabled, completely normal cats! They use their whiskers to see and maneuver around obstacles. Mercy loves to play and she is very reliant on her ears. This is the sign of a truly great veterinarian. This pet has pretty bad vet anxiety to the point where he jumps about uncontrollably when inside the vet office, and it's not good to jump about especially when you've just had specialist knee surgery. Dr. Campbell and technicians did the suture removal right outside the clinics front door.
