Lexi (fka Xena) is doing great in foster, but she really needs a forever home to thrive. Saved from a neglect situation, she has recovered beautifully.
Lexi is a GSD/Husky mix, heavy on the Husky. 😉
Ideally we’d love a breed savvy adopter to help her be the best she can be. Lexi is a vocal girl, which comes in handy when she lets you know she needs to go out or wants to play. She gets along well with other dogs but does need to continue to learn and work on reinforcing the boundaries of play. She goes in her crate no problem and sleeps right thru the night.
Lexi loves to run and play and has the energy to do so, so a high (husky proof) fenced-in yard would be perfect! As active as she is she is extremely affectionate and loves to curl up in your lap and kiss you.

📝 Lexi is about ONE or TWO years old, spayed and UTD on her vaccines. She is approximately 50 lbs, on the smaller side for both breeds.

It’s a tough job running a sanctuary. I don’t get paid, it’s purely volunteer and I actually donate my entire pet sitting money to animal manor.
