Meet Mishi Masho. He is a 6 month old Domestic Short Hair who was diagnosed with Calicivirus last week by Dr. Jackman. Calicivirus is a virus that can cause an Upper Respiratory Infection(URI) and an oral disease in cats. Mishi Masho was experiencing conjunctivitis (inflammation of eye lids), discharge from the nose and eye, and ulcers on the tongue. With help from the Urgent Care staff, Mishi Masho is feeling much better a week later, and we wish him a speedy recovery!

1-Check on your elderly family and
2- Only walk your dogs in the early morning and in the evening when the sun is setting.
3-if the pavement is hot for your barefeet, then it's hot for your pet's paws.
4-Make sure you drink plenty of water.

They make it possible for your pet(s) to see the vet (time permitting), they relay your messages to the vet, AND don't forget they have no control over wait times and prices! Be kind to your veterinary receptionists, always, but especially this week!
