We cannot continue to help our dreadfully long, waiting list of people in line if we keep getting sent back with financial burden. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SCHEDULE PLEASE FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY and please be aware that this clinic consists of a vet, a tech and a volunteer and our prices reflect this. We do not have a receptionist. Emails and inquiries are answered mostly by the tech when she’s not in surgery so please be patient and keep trying to get scheduled if your first attempt isn’t answered immediately. It’s just as easy to send another email as it is to complain that you haven’t been answered😊

We need specific information to get you scheduled and your appointment will be delayed when we have to ask for more information. Please do not send multiple emails within 7 days. This frustrates Dina and you may never get scheduled🤣.

The services you would like to schedule for such as cat spay, vaccines and microchip, rabbit neuter, feral cat neuter. We can add services at the time of checkin but the more information we have the better we can serve you.

Looking for an affordable rental space to use as storage for our equipment and supplies. We have our own utility racks that we can use to keep things organized.

Preferably a mid island location 10305, 10306, 10308 but open to others. Basement , Garage or even a spacious shed will do as long as we have full access and ability to lock up:

Looking to spend a couple hundred at most,  as we are a nonprofit organization and are on a budget. If anyone has this type of space even laying around on their own residential property and want to make some extra money? Our organization has gotten lucky a few times with basements and garages through the years, but people ended up moving.

It’s been a crazy and overwhelming spring/summer! Volunteers and TNR trappers are drained trying to keep going with no end in sight.

This feral mama and kittens have been successfully trapped. With team work we were able to accomplish TNR on the feral mama (see her last pictures being released on kitty cam 🥰). We are so full to capacity with adoptable kittens/ cats ourselves and very grateful another organization took the litter into foster.

Team work always goes a long way and we encourage people in the community to become apart of the solution! We are living in an over population Crisis, every day is a nightmare fielding rescue inquiries and desperate pleas. Rescuers aren’t paid employees, we’re all volunteers trying to juggle work, family, friends and personal lives just like everyone else.

A plea for help was posted on Lost and Found Staten Island by a Good Samaritan driving by.

Thank you to those who teamed up in getting the sick kitten as soon as they were able to. This little kitten is sick with upper respiratory symptoms. Has some scrapes and areas of caked on dirt that were washed up with a fresh bath!

Coincidentally, just a few days before this kitten was posted we had received a message for newborns found in a yard nearby the exact same area. After 6+ hours had passed with no mom coming back to the yard, untouched wet food left for her, the kittens were showing more of rapid decline. Their body temperature dropping and some had passed away. Whoever the momma cat is may have been experiencing birthing complications and this is why we stress the importance of spay/neuter every single day!

This is a perfect example of how many Facebook pleas for help tend to open up a much larger can of worms! We now have our work cut out with a large scale task! We’re looking at double digits of feral adults to TNR at this location and need the communities support in taking on another financial strain.

Today’s National Black Cat Day!

Our volunteers love Hunter! He is 4 years old, super friendly, vocal and gets along well with other cats. He’s waiting patiently for his big day! For someone to give him a permanent loving home ❤️

Please share Hunters post! He came into the rescue a few months ago when his owner had to move into a senior assisted living. Unfortunately, she wasn’t able to take all of her cats with her and we welcomed him into the rescue.

We unfortunately were notified about one of our previously adopted cats being surrendered to Animal Care & Control. Betty Boop was adopted from us in 2021 and the adopter also took in a second cat since then which is not from us.

Both cats are now at ACC due to a recent housefire, and the owner is now staying with friends where the cats were allowed to stay.

At this point we are so over capacity and getting hit left and right with one issue after the next. We will have to figure out where we can put Betty boop over the next day or so. Unfortunately, we are not in a position where we can also reserve the housemate which is a male tabby.

If anyone is able to open up their homes to foster or adopt Betty Boop (and possibly her house mate) Please contact us! Anyone interested in helping us fill out an application on our website victory4thevoiceless.com

I wish I could say that everything is going to be OK and we just have to keep our heads up, but every day is getting harder and harder to get by in this field. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Meet one of our foster kitty’s Latte💖

She’s 18 months old and is the size of a kitten at only 7 lbs. Latte adores people and loves other cats. Her foster family has nothing but amazing things to say about her!

She’s the best companion, plays all day with foster house mates and cuddles up at night with you to relax and watch some TV. Such a doll!

Snuggles needs our help
She’s 7 years old, beagle/lab mix, fixed and up to date on vet care, heartworm free.

She is mushy, sweet girl, no aggressive behavior, she loves attention, walking, playing, running and loves to cuddle up to you!

She’s been an ONLY pet in her home however, she is very easy going and non reactive towards other dogs outside on walks. Proper meet n greets can be arranged to introduce to a fosters dog(s)

Fang is missing from the signs road/victory Blvd area on SI. Please a look out for her. She is eartipped and has a small dot of white on her chest and lighter shade chin/mouth as you can see in the pictures.

She is feeder friendly meaning ONLY affectionate with the one particular family who feeds her. Yes they have tried to keep her inside previously but she is not able to stay inside long without insisting on getting out.

We have fixed over 10 cats in this area along the rustic woods community and still going.
Fang has been missing since 7/29. If anyone has seen her please contact us.

Please check your sheds, basements, garages if your in the area. She may have gotten locked inside somewhere while you had doors open at some point.

Nas is doing great after his emergency surgery!

Thank goodness the foreign object didn’t cause major damage to the intestine. Upon X-rays he also showed urinary stones which were also removed. He is now also on RX urinary food which of course is adding more financial strain.

Nas foster family is running a Rangers Vs. Devils game raffle to help with the high veterinary cost. Please see the raffle ticket information on how to enter below!
