We’re very sad to announce that our own dear little Gilly passed on yesterday. She was diagnosed with lymphoma in March and despite a valiant effort, ultimately succumbed to it yesterday.

We loved her very much and know that many of you did as well. She had so many wonderful sides of her. Cuddly, playful, driven, ferocious and so smart. She brought us joy we didn’t know we could have. She loved to participate in barnhunt events, chill on her heating pad, roam bushwick inlet beach and chase the squirrels in McGolrick park. May the squirrels have an easier day today.

We’re grateful for for bringing her into our lives, to for the barn hunt events she loved so much, for and dr. Cohen and for helping to extend her life and for and dr. Stein for helping us to let her go gracefully.

We love you baby wiens. See you again soon ❤️

Training “picnic dog” out in McCarren park today. The schnauzer Alfred is with us for reactivity towards exciting things and our job has been to acclimate him to react calmly to the world as it goes by. This ain’t a half bad job if you can get it 😉
