Got to see some of my rabbit friends yesterday at the Catskill RCBA show.Show A with a intermediate Argente Brun buck won BOB. Show B with Sr Argente Brun buck won BOSB next week he will be on his way to LA to his new home with Debbie Deborah Johnston . My Sr Silver fox doe got BOSB in show B. Was great to see my rabbit friends

Great show today PPPRCBA at Sharkey's in Liverpool, NY. We were the only Argente Bruns there got BoB and BOSBin both shows. With American Chinchillas in first show got BOSB with a Jr Buck and in second show won BoB with a Jr doe and BOSB with a intermediate buck.

Grand Finals was this weekend in Cortland,NY. With American Chinchillas show A got BOB with Jr Buck and Bos with Sr Doe. Show B got BOS with Sr Buck. Buck I sold to Daryl Whiting won BOD in show A. Show B won BOB with 6/8 Doe. Didn't get pictures with judges but took this picture of buck I sold

Went to Niagara frontier rabbit club in Batavia,NY. Won BOB with judge Joe Colucci with a Sr Doe. Anita Trautwein got Bos with Intermediate buck. Show B under judge James Goodrich won BOB with same Sr Doe and got BOS with Sr buck.

Also there’s a HUGE difference between purebred and well bred. PLEASE do your research before you get ANY animal! As far as rabbits go, there are 3 categories- SHOW QUALITY means that rabbit is ready to hit the show tables. Free of DQ’s and close to the standard. BROOD QUALITY means the rabbit may be outside the standard but could be valuable in a breeding program, probably not going to do well on the show table. PET QUALITY means the rabbit has DQ’s or is not close to the standard but might have a nice personality to be a pet. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS 4-H OR FFA QUALITY IN RABBITS. An ethical breeder won’t sell an animal to a child represented as those qualities. An honest breeder will not sell an animal to someone (child or adult) represented as show quality that they themselves would not put on the show table!

I hate to do this but getting way to many tire kickers that want rabbits then change there minds. From now on there will be a 25 dollar deposit that is nonrefundable. Breed does to get these babies then change mind of don't like said price.

Three litters of Argente Bruns born in the last two days. One litter is from two Granded rabbits hope they are half as good as the parents.

Two more litters of American Chinchillas all does have had there babies. Sorted though two litters yesterday they all look pretty good. Now wait for them to get little older and start getting them to there new homes.
