Posted • I tried adjusting the colors a little bit on my jawbreaker mushroom cause the colors were so muted and washed out.. I wish my phone took better pics and I could show you exactly what these corals look like in real life but I think I would have to buy a nice DSLR camera to do that. I don’t have the money for that sorry guys 😢I’ll try my best to give you the best pics possible if you guys have any tips or tricks write me a comment or pm me later reefers

It all started when the Steinhart Aquarium found out that brine shrimp is great as fish food in 1934. 30 years later, they decided to form San Francisco Fish Farm and began to sell brine shrimp to anyone that was interested.

🐟In 1955, Anton Schmidt moved from Germany to the U.S. with his family, and two years later he opened his own aquarium. “Schmidt’s Aquarium”. Where he made custom aquariums until he teamed up with Metaframe 10 years later.

🐟Metaframe gets purchased by Mattel, Inc. (Yes, the toy company that makes Barbie dolls) in 1969. Anton was rumored to be interested in brine shrimp and wanted to sell them nationally but didn’t have a vehicle. Mattel provided him with one.

🐟In 1979, Mattel, Inc. goes their separate ways and that leaves San Francisco Bay Brand with the Schmidt family. Anton, and his daughter, Andreas work together on making more products for aquaculture and makes brine shrimp a staple fish diet in 38 different countries!

🐟Throughout the 1990’s they started to release new types of frozen fish diet and expanded their “Sally’s Single Ingredient Fish Foods” Which now included Beefheart, Mussel, Bloodworms, Silversides, and more!

🐟Now, Andreas Schmidt is the president of the company and it is owned by Ocean Nutrition Americas, which is a fish food manufacturer. We can’t wait to see what type of products they release in the future!

Posted • Next investment, better camera. Wish I could capture these bronze cory fry and all their beauty. Will continue toying with the lenses and editing. 8+ Cory fry starting to show their colors and grow thanks to fry food and baby brine shrimp.

Posted • My wife’s office tank. This 5 gallon has been a relaxing part of my daily routine in the mornings. Check on workers, machinery, then grab a coffee, and come and feed this little guy. He loves pellets, and also brine shrimp from The pothos on the left wasn’t doing well, so it just recently got moved to the tank after this photo was taken.

Posted • Today I treated my big boys to a feast. They were trying different foods from and they absolutely loved it. I honestly have never seen them come up for food so fast and aggressive before. They were so happy. Thank you for letting me showcase these amazing products for you. I can't wait to have them try the other kinds.
