I suppose it’s time to let the cat out of the bag. I’ll be opening a clinic in Fall 2024!
I’m so excited to be starting this new chapter in my career. I hope to see some familiar faces and plenty of new ones!

After 6 months of relief work at Tritt Animal Hospital, sadly today was my last day with them. I didn’t anticipate the bonds I’d form and the amazing people I’d come to call my friends while doing relief. What a tough group to leave! They’ve hired a new doctor and no longer need relief.
Now I’ll be a bit more here, there and everywhere for the time being! Sprayberry, Trickum, Peachvet Pet Wellness, and others. I also can’t wait to share some news about some bigger plans in the works as time marches on. Until then, I’ll keep on keeping on.

I was looking through my photos for pictures of vet techs I’ve worked with over the years, and what a humbling experience it was going through the these photos and realizing how lucky I am to have worked with such great people over the years. These guys truly are the best! I love that I got to know each and every one of them, and they all hold a special place in my heart. Every single one of them has been a source of support at some point in my career, and without them, I wouldn’t be the vet or the person I am today. I’m incredibly thankful!
If you ever come across any of these faces, please know that these guys genuinely care about you and your pet, and give them a huge THANK YOU! They deserve to be recognized for all that they do. 🤗

Well, it seems we have established I’m not the greatest at social media 😂. I really intended to do a better job keeping up with this, but it’s been a while! My apologies.
The truth is I’ve been working myself silly with little to no breaks. I panicked a little when I lost my job at Rose and wanted to make sure we could supplement the income. Turns out everyone needs vet help! I’m very grateful to be in the position that I’m in, and there is no shortage of work.
Flip side is, I realized I needed to slow it down and breathe a little. So I’ve taken a few days off this week to just … relax. Easier said than done but I’m working on it.
The picture is of my middle son, in one of the million moments I want to cherish. 💕
Tomorrow I’ll be back at it and will be at Tritt Animal Hospital on Thursday and Friday. I will say the crew there is top notch! 🐕🐾🐈⬛
Meet Moose Max! Aka Moose aka Cookie aka Cookie Moose…. (My wonderful children couldn’t decide on a name…)
This guy was on death row at a local shelter as unfortunately many are these days due to overcrowding and lack of space, funds, and homes. With the help of Angels Among Us Pet Rescue we were able to bust him out and into safety. We’re honored to be fostering this special guy. He is sweet, smart, and loyal - as many German Shepherds tend to be. But he takes ‘good dog’ to the next level. He’s awesome with my kids, dog, and cats, and has beautiful house manners. If only he could tell us how he landed in that shelter!
If anyone knows anyone looking for the perfect shepherd, let me know. He’s crashing at our house for the time being - but I suspect not for long.

This is who I reported to today for my shift at Sprayberry Animal Hospital. His name is Aston. 🦜 He’s a man of few words but he runs a tight ship.

Visiting 🏥for Luna. We took this girl in to get her skin issues fixed up and find her a home! She’s an itchy girl with allergies and so we’re getting that addressed by the best of the best. Animal Dermatology Clinic has been great and I’d definitely recommend them if your pet’s skin needs some attention.
As far as Luna, she’s happy to get some relief but she’d REALLY love a new home 🏡
She’s incredibly sweet and loves to snuggle 💕 🐈⬛

I spayed and neutered 28 cats today on the Catsnip truck. 🐾🛻
I realize I didn’t do the best job explaining exactly what I’m doing professionally right now. So here goes!
At the end of May, the wonderful clinic I had been working at sadly closed their doors. It was a dream job, and the team, clients, and patients were amazing. They were my family. We were shocked and saddened to move on, but such is life.
After parting, I needed some time before jumping into a new “family”, but also needed to produce some income. Fast forward and here I am working as a relief veterinarian full time. What this means is I’m a little here, there, and everywhere!
Every day takes me to a new clinic with new faces and new opportunities to learn. I’ve enjoyed meeting new vets, staff, clients, and pets. It also has allowed me the freedom to make my own schedule and set aside time with my family as needed.
Flip side is - I do miss a steady “home” and getting to see and care for familiar faces and friends on a regular basis. Relief will not be my full time gig, but it is for the time being. I thought it’d be fun to update friends, family, and clients along the way.
It has been a rollercoaster, that’s for sure. But when one door closes, another door opens. I’m so grateful for the new opportunities this has provided me. Here’s looking to the future! Stay tuned 😉

Love working with Furkids East Cobb! These cat condos were donated to me by Angels Among Us Rescue and I was able to pay it forward to FKEC. I can’t wait to see it full of cats! 🐈🐈⬛ And super thankful for my husband and friends who are much stronger than me 😜 Helping kitties is what we do!
Short Saturday at Holcomb Bridge Animal Hospital today!
This little kitty was dumped on them and they’re doing their best to get her on the mend! ❤️🩹 She unfortunately tested positive for feline leukemia and has some eye issues going on. They’ll retest her with an outside lab to ensure a proper diagnosis. They’re looking for help in anyone interested in taking care of her or finding her a home! 💕🐈
