Y’all. I have trapped a cat that I have been trying to trap for TWO YEARS!!! Two years that she has evaded literally hundreds of attempts to capture her. She has turned her nose up at everything! Tuna? No. Sardines? Nope. Wet cat food? Come on. Rotisserie chicken? Not interested. But today. Today I have discovered her secret weakness. Bacon. BACON!!! Bacon is always the answer!! I heard the trap door slam closed and I trudged outside, fully expecting to see some of my repeat single brain celled offenders gazing up at me sheepishly only to discover my elusive Cordelia! Tears immediately poured down my face as I quickly texted Southern Haven Veterinary Clinic & Pet Retreat to see if they could fit her in. They came through (as always!!) and will be boarding her overnight and preforming her surgery tomorrow, yay!! I cannot describe the relief I feel. There’s still five or six more I’m trying to capture but this gives me hope.❤️🐾
