About Our Program
Delaware Red Pitbulls
In 2004 we decided to help create and preserve this style of dog to achieve the best possible refined version. The ultimate companion available anywhere in the world today. We have a heavy structured athletic dog that can breath and work well at a ultimate level. Canines that have excellent intelligent working minds that will perform many working tasks su
ch as hunting, personal protection work, sports such as weight pulling, wall climbing, swimming, or simply companion. We have very expressional dogs which stems from high intelligence and inquisitive nature. Our dogs can work and also love on your children. We choose to display all of the truths here at DRP, education is key. Although this breed is not for everyone like some people would like to believe, they are a excellent breed choice for many families. The "pitbull" is the most common American dog breed and that's why we hear the most about them in today's media. "Pitbull" had simply become a general term in todays time. Just because a dog resembles the apbt does not make them the high driven strong willed APBT breed. Although the true combat APBT's are still being bred for fighting around the world today, they have been on the decline in recent history. The American Bully breed has been rising on a strong incline recently due to it's lack of drive/energy which allows easier ownership but also giving people the "image" of a hard dog. Unlike the APBT or American Working Red Dog, The bully is more of a designer dog that is not bred for working ability or function. To each their own preference for the APBT, Bully, or American Working Red Dog. This is pure passion for us and that is what separates us from most breeders. A mans money and ego destroys this breed and all breeds. DRP ensures a great quality of life for our dogs. We believe optimal canine quality of life over generations is embedded into the dogs genetics. We are 7 generations and 20 years into spoiling our dogs with healthy lifestyles. We are devoted to breeding only the absolute best U.K.C / A.D.B.A Working-Performance Sport American Pit Bull Terriers/ Working Red Dogs of the past & present incorporating our very own standards.
Here at DRP, we not only breed healthy quality dogs but our dogs are family. We are not a puppy mill operation and we operate on a small quality scale. Our dogs here play with our children, go to parks, go boating-swimming, travel, and are allowed in our home as part of the family. We not only advocate the breed but also the "Way Of Life" associated with this breed. We strive to educate the public and guide buyers to choose the best fit for their home, even if its recommending another breed or directing them to rescue. Our Dedication to Quality Pitbulls
Our program was established in 2004 with a lifetime of experience with the breed. Our pedigrees stem from OFRN-OLD FAMILY RED NOSE / CAMELOT / HEMPHILL / BOWMANS BASS TRAMP REDBOY/ PATRICK / BOYLES / POOLE / CASTILLO / *HEAVY BROOZER BLOOD* (the most successful producer of our time RIP ) however we are currently 15+ years into our program and own/feed 6 generations of our own stock. The Klosowski bloodline aka Brandy-line. Here at DRP, we are breeding for HEALTH 1st, SOUND TEMPERAMENT, INTELLIGENCE, APTITUDE, PREY DRIVE, DEFENSIVE DRIVE, STRONG NERVE, HEAVY MUSCLE, SOUND STRUCTURE, CONFIDENCE, STRONG WIND, ATHLETICISM, WORKING ABILITY, VERSITILITY, AND CONSISTENCY. We breed for working-Sport dogs and family companions. Dogs that are affectionate but also possess a sensitive on and off switch for protecting their loved ones. Our current breedings are bred for 17" - 20" height, girthy, compact, muscular structure, athletic 50-80lbs eye candy dogs that are capable of hunting, Personal Protection, Drug Sniffing, weight pulling, dock diving, and just about any working task they are asked to perform. Colors will always be shades of Red, Red/White, occasional white dogs and chocolate dogs.

I traveled coast to coast from Delaware to Hollywood in April and saw alot of incredible things. But my highlight was most def @madisonbaezmusic singing to our family over a intimate Burger dinner (Madis choice and a good one). Our Oscar's event where Madison was going to perform had some permit issues so we made the best of it. Madi and her family's story is truly incredible. Her father Chris has been fighting cancer for years and he's winning with the help of his daughter who sang to him in the hospital daily. She has performed the #Nationalanthem at major events, sang her heart out on TV shows, and plays young Salena on the new @salenanetflix series. If you don't know this beautiful soul yet, you must check her out! Madis talent is incomparable and ahead of her time in the music industry.
