January in review:

First, my 2 favorite “Lapadors”, Riley and Gauge, rang in an early New Year’s with me. Then, one of the most photogenic girls, Reecie, helped me celebrate the actual NYE. Sweet girl Luna stopped over for a quick visit followed by the goofy Ollie boy and bringing the month to a close, the “Lapadors” returned for another visit. Riley is my foot warmer and Gauge is my bodyguard. This is the greatest job. So many dog cuddles, so little time (and so many happy families).

My favorite Lapadors are back! Riley and Gauge arrived last night and were very excited to be here. They made themselves right at home almost immediately (see pictures). I’m glad they get to spend the holiday with me. The kids want to day travel safe Mom and Dad and have a great time. Bring some sunshine back with you.

November in review: Had a few visitors last month. First, there was Grady, my favorite Bassett. He was so excited to come see me that I could hear him when the car turned the corner. Then, there was a newcomer. A little Corgi named Nugget. I’ve never had one before and she made herself right at home within the first 30 seconds. Needless to say, she got to me. There was an impromptu visit from my favorite Lunatic. I love that face. She’s my snuggle buddy for sure. Then there’s one of the coolest duos I’ve ever had here. Riley and Gauge. I just love me some Lapadors. Gauge found a pool floatie and shortly after decided he would like to wear it instead. It was a whole Finding Nemo moment. 😆 Goofy boy. Can’t wait to have them back in a few short weeks to wrap up my 2024.

Been a little busy. Had a few visitors as of late. There’s newcomer, Mr. Kooper, who definitely kept me on my toes and definitely had me wrapped around his paw. Then, there were my girls, Koda and Sage. Sage was just as snuggly and Koda showed me her audition for American Idol. She has such a pretty voice. A quick visit with Miss Stella. One of my favorite Doodles. She is so funny and cuddly. Last, but not least, Miss Dylan. She got to spend Halloween with me and came with her own costumes. Tried to get some good pictures of her in the costumes but she was too distracted with people outside. She decided on being a little princess instead of a hot dog or having the witch on her back. All the kids that came here that night told her how cute she was. I have to agree.

Welcome Miss Haddie. She’s an 8y/o American Staffy. One of the sweetest, playful, funniest, and cuddliest little girls I have ever met. So smart and sticks to you like Velcro. Her parents and I have been trying to connect for a while to get a visit scheduled and it was just pure luck that I had this weekend open for her to have her first stay with me. Had an amazing few days. First, The Ree came to visit me and she is always a good time. She is spunky and sassy and sweet all at the same time. Most of the pictures I took of her this time were blurry. I tried. 🤷‍♀️ Then, I got to spend some time with Koda Blue and Sage. One look at those faces and it’s easy to see I love having them here. Koda is definitely not shy and mugs for the camera. She also is very talented. She can sing and dance. I’ll post a short video in the comments. Sage is a little more shy so not as many pictures of her but she is the sweetest girl and very cuddly.
