Been a little busy. Had a few visitors as of late. There’s newcomer, Mr. Kooper, who definitely kept me on my toes and definitely had me wrapped around his paw. Then, there were my girls, Koda and Sage. Sage was just as snuggly and Koda showed me her audition for American Idol. She has such a pretty voice. A quick visit with Miss Stella. One of my favorite Doodles. She is so funny and cuddly. Last, but not least, Miss Dylan. She got to spend Halloween with me and came with her own costumes. Tried to get some good pictures of her in the costumes but she was too distracted with people outside. She decided on being a little princess instead of a hot dog or having the witch on her back. All the kids that came here that night told her how cute she was. I have to agree.

Welcome Miss Sadie. This sweet 10 y/o Brittany Spaniel will be here with me for a few days. Here for less than an hour and she’s already making herself at home.

Gauge (8 y/o male black lab) and Riley (10 y/o female yellow lab) are here to stay with me for a few days. They are making themselves right at home and making the presence known to the neighborhood. Currently I am surrounded by all the squeaky balls I have in the house.

Welcome Miss Haddie. She’s an 8y/o American Staffy. One of the sweetest, playful, funniest, and cuddliest little girls I have ever met. So smart and sticks to you like Velcro. Her parents and I have been trying to connect for a while to get a visit scheduled and it was just pure luck that I had this weekend open for her to have her first stay with me. Hoping for many more in the future.

Miss Lucy arrived yesterday to spend a few days with me. Sweet girl is currently under the bed because of thunder but I did manage to get a few pictures of her.

Had an amazing few days. First, The Ree came to visit me and she is always a good time. She is spunky and sassy and sweet all at the same time. Most of the pictures I took of her this time were blurry. I tried. 🤷‍♀️ Then, I got to spend some time with Koda Blue and Sage. One look at those faces and it’s easy to see I love having them here. Koda is definitely not shy and mugs for the camera. She also is very talented. She can sing and dance. I’ll post a short video in the comments. Sage is a little more shy so not as many pictures of her but she is the sweetest girl and very cuddly.

Sad to report that Mr. Mo has crossed the rainbow bridge. This sweet 15 y/o boy lived a long, happy life. I will miss you little man. Sending love to the family.

It’s The Ree! Reecie is here for a few days to show me how well she’s recovering after her run-in with a porcupine. She wanted to be friends and the porcupine wasn’t that interested. Poor girl. But she’s doing well and still the same sweet, playful, cuddly girl. She won’t let me out of her sight. I’ve missed you, Ree Roo!

She’s back!! Miss Betsy is coming for an extended stay (she’s already made herself at home) and she and her family brought me a gift. I love my job! I hope the family has safe travels. Have fun and we will see you soon

What a busy week! First there was a newcomer, Miss Betsy. She is a 10 month old Boykin Spaniel. This sweet, cuddly girl loves to play and chew on all the toys and is super smart. Looking forward to her next visit.

Then there was another newcomer, Mr. Mo. This cute boy is an almost 15 year old Shih Tzu/Maltese/Poodle mix. He weighs 6 pounds but he acts like he can run with the big dogs. He definitely kept things interesting. I think I may have spoiled him just a little bit. I carried him around a lot. It’s been a minute since I’ve had a dog this small in my house.

And who can forget The Lunatic? I got some sweet cuddles and took a nice walk with her. She got a few treats afterwards and got into the toy basket for her favorite chewy. It’s like she’s been here before. 😁

Now to get ready for next week with Grady.

Bella (Rott/Lab mix) and Archie (coonhound mix) got to spend the last few days with me. These dogs really don’t like to get their pictures taken except when they’re sleeping. 🤣 With this being their first visit, I was pleasantly surprised with how well they adjusted to being here. They made themselves right at home. Of course they had to explore the neighborhood and let their presence be known (cue the coonhound howl), but they played with all the toys, got all the treats, and all the scratches and cuddles they could handle. All in all I would say this was a successful first visit and an exhausting one for them.. It’s tough doing all those things AND sitting by the door watching all the cars go by and barking at all the people.
