This is NOT a paid position but would be in exchange for full training for 1 horse!

Are you looking to gain horse experience in a boutique environment? Do you have an attention to detail and a self motivated attitude? Do you love working with cute ponies and quality young horses? River Wood might be the place for you!

This is primarily a grooming position -
Tacking and untacking
Lunging
Mane pulling
Tack cleaning
Helping set jumps
Some riding possible!

Candidate must be available for a few hours 11-4 3 days a week!

A good fit is most important and we are willing to train the right person!

Absolute doll of a medium pony! Cute mover, great jump, auto swap. Great on the ground, easy easy easy to ride. Has limited kid show miles but plenty of kid experience. Will end up making a great division pony but needs another year in the children's ponies. POSSIBLE CARE LEASE TO A SHOW HOME!

Super great brain and easy to work with! Not your typical TB - he's an easy going guy who aims to please. Safe under saddle and on the ground. Prior to having some time off (no fault of his) was jumping around a 2'6" course with a lead change being used as a lesson horse. He is looking for someone to take the time to get him back in shape.
