Talk about cuteness overload!! This is our S litter!

Sophia, Sage, Stanley, and Stuart, came in with their mom Scarlett!

They are almost 2 months old and are guessed to be chihuahua mixes.

Sophia (F) and Stanley (M) are the more exuberant and playful out of the 4! They love to zoom around and play with toys, and eachother.

Sage (F) and Stuart (M) are the more laid back out of the 4, they will play but are also content napping and getting snuggles.

All of the puppies are sweet, happy, typical puppies. They can’t wait to find their forever homes, they will be ready to go home on 9/26. If interested please submit an application on our website! Pawsitivelysaved.org 🐾❤️

These 6 little fluff balls are up for adoption!

They are 9 week old standard poodle puppies! They have the best demeanors, so calm and sweet, super smart, and super cuddly.

We know they are absolutely irresistible, BUT, poodles require a LOT of up keeping due to their coat. We want to ensure that people understand the commitment that comes with them. Poodles require daily brushing as well as grooming appointments at least every 6 weeks, which aren’t cheap! The last thing we want to happen to these puppies is for them to end up matted, in pain, and needing to be shaved. So, If you are not familiar with the grooming requirements for the breed then please do some research to see if you are truly up for it!

We are hoping to find families with poodle experience, have done research, and who know about proper coat care. 🫶🐾❤️

We know these little balls of love will likely receive lots of applications so we will be taking time to look through and find the best placements for them. That being said, please be patient as we work on getting back to applicants!

They can’t go home until 9/23 but we are accepting applications now!

Faith!! ❤️

Faith is another mama with a similar story to Gracie!

Faith is a 3 1/2 year old female chihuahua mix who weighs about 16 lbs.

She is one of the 20 hoarding dogs we received February of 2024 and she came to us pregnant and terrified. She was an amazing mama to her little babies and they have all found their forever homes. Faith has been working with a volunteer on learning to trust, and she has came so far. She really is such a sweet and funny girl once she opens up. She is now in a foster home and improving tremendously!

Her foster mom says:

Faith has greatly improved on potty training, we have still had a couple of accidents but she is getting much better.

She is not a fan of the kennel and can be vocal about wanting out so we have not insisted she use it.

We have been working up to being able to file her nails, she is currently ok with us holding a paw while the dremel is on close to her.

Faith is a chewer and she is very fond of bully sticks. She has tried to chew a few items like the plastic on her leash or the dog bed frame but is easily redirected.

She is learning to play with toys and thinking about playing with the other dogs.

She likes being held and if you are sitting she would like to be curled up next to you. We are working on her knowing her name and come. She walks on leash better if we have our other dog with her as she is still unsure and taking queues from him.

This sweet little lady needs you. She wants to have a forever family so badly, you can tell in her eyes that she just wants to love and be loved, she’s just still working on learning how! If you are interested in adopting Faith please apply on our website, pawsitivelysaved.org

Meet Gracie, an almost 2 year old female chihuahua, terrier mix who weighs about 18 lbs.

Gracie has been with us since June 8th 2023. She came to us from a terrible hoarding situation and was pregnant and petrified. We could not touch her, leash her, anything. Our hearts broke for her. We had an amazing volunteer who continuously spent time with her, and helped to try and find her a foster.

Well we are happy to say that after a year she is finally in a foster home and is blossoming into the sweet little lady we always knew she could be! She is up for adoption now and hopes you might be her forever family!

From Gracie’s Foster Mom:

Gracie is making great progress. She loves going on her daily walks with her foster sister and even leads the pack sometimes. She is starting to walk with her tail up which shows she is gaining confidence! She also loves playing with her foster sister in the backyard; it started with her foster sister initiating play, but now, Gracie is play bowing and wants to play a lot! She would do good in a home with another dog that she can get cues from and imitate. There is a cat in the home as well that Gracie ignores for the most part. She did chase him once, but more in a playful way.

Gracie is doing pretty good with her potty training. She has access to the backyard during the day and has only had two accidents at night when the door was closed.

Gracie still does not seek out a lot of affection from people but she takes treats from my hand and is also taking treats from some friends as well. She is still working on trusting people. She is a very fun, sweet dog who deserves a great life!

Could Gracie be your best friend? She has made so much progress and we know that with time she will be someone’s loyal companion. It’s so rewarding to have a timid dog open up and trust you. We hope you could be her golden ticket to a life full of love.

A few cuties up for adoption! ❤️

Newton is a 5 year old male corgi. He weighs about 33 lbs. He is such a little love and is very treat/toy motivated! He loves toys that squeak!

Knight is a 1 year old male Labrador retriever. He weighs about 68 lbs. He was a stray, running for about a month before he was finally caught. He is a little timid at first and will take some time to trust again. He will require a securely fenced yard and would do best in a home with another confident dog.

Gordo is a 1 year old male terrier. He weighs about 16 lbs. He is a pretty laid back guy who loves to go for walks! He is such a cute scruffy boy.

Scarlett is a 3 year old female chihuahua mix. She weighs about 13 lbs. she has been the absolute best mama to her babies and is now ready for a forever home. Everyone who meets her falls in love with her, she is the best little snuggle bug.

Benny & Twix got to go on a field trip to the !

They are both in search of forever homes!

Twix is a 5 year old female chihuahua, papillon mix! She weighs about 14 lbs. She did great for her bath, loved all people, kids, and other dogs. Her favorite activity is sun bathing and enjoying belly rubs.

Benny is a 2 year old male chihuahua, pug. He weighs about 14 lbs. He loved all people, and was fine with other dogs as long as they’re similar in size. He probably wouldn’t do well in a home with a large dog as they’re a bit intimidating to him. His favorite things are soft country music and coffee cake. Yes, we mean that. He is easily soothed by some music, and was intrigued by the guitarist at the market, he also will happily sit for treats, especially coffee cake.

They both got complimented on how relaxed and well behaved they were. We don’t know much about their past but we do know we’re going to ensure a great future for these 2!

Hi, I’m Zane!

I am a happy, goofy, affectionate, fun loving Lab mix who’s always ready to join in the fun. Whether you’re looking for an adventure buddy who can keep up with you while you’re exploring the PNW, or someone who can snuggle on the couch with you all day, I’m your guy. I love my human companions and am just happy to be included.

My hobbies include:

Snuggling with my people, playing fetch (this is my very favorite), playing with my doggy friends, enjoying long walks/runs with my people, playing with my squeaky toys, and practicing my general obedience commands.

I have a few years of professional training under my belt, and I’d love to show you all the cool tricks/commands that I know! I am currently being fostered by my trainer, and she says that I am one of the bestest boys that she’s worked with. My new adopters will have 5 one on one training sessions with her to make sure I’m settling into my new home, and to help set me up for success!

I am reliable on verbal commands most of the time, and I am also ecollar trained for off leash reliability as well. I do have a little bit of reactivity that I’m working through, but I am very easy to redirect and love working for treats!

I currently live with a few big German Shepherds who I LOVE playing with, and have lived with a small dog in the past. I am generally pretty friendly with other dogs, but can be dog selective so a proper meet and greet is needed with any other dog who I’ll be sharing my new home with. I also currently live with a dog savvy kitty who I think is pretty cool and I enjoy his company, I haven’t shown any aggression to cats at all.

Sadly we have had some severe medical cases, that we didn’t know were medical cases until we got them. However, we are committed to the dogs in our care and will do whatever is needed to get them happy and healthy.

Yesterday Cassie celebrated national dog day by attending an agility class at !!

We are so thankful for the opportunity to work with them. They are kind, patient, and meet each dog where they’re at!

Cassie is a 6 month old female mixed breed. She has the most beautiful markings, and is a total love bug. However, this was Cassie’s first time out since coming to the rescue. Understandably she was nervous and a little unsure. They encouraged her, helped build confidence, but never forced her to do anything and were patient with her. We encourage you to check them out and give them a follow!

3/5 of the dogs we’ve taken there have been adopted!! We know that seeing these dogs doing training outside of the shelter environment has been a huge factor in them finding homes. A few of them were some of our long time residents!

Happy National Dog Day!! 🐾

Give your pups some extra love today in honor of national dog day!!

At the rescue everyday feels like dog day. But today we appreciate the never ending unconditional love that dogs have to offer.

Looking back at this year so far, we have found homes for countless amazing dogs. We are so happy to be able to help these dogs find their forever homes, and we will continue to help even more dogs.

But, we can’t continue to do so without your support! There are so many factors that go into rescue and aside from the hard work and dedication of our employees and volunteers we also rely on donations from generous individuals to help care for these pups until they find their homes!

Some dogs get adopted within the week that they get posted for adoption, which is amazing! But not every dog gets that lucky. Some dogs wait weeks, months, and sometimes sadly even years. But the vet care, food, toys, are provided for them until they find their home! Which is why donations are so crucial! Whether it be food, toys, blankets, time, or funds!

We appreciate every individual who has supported our rescue in any capacity, and we encourage you to donate if you can in honor of national dog day! 🐾

Look at these little bundles of cuteness!!

The G litter is a group of adorable almost 2 month old mixed breed puppies! They are weighing in between 2 and 4 lbs and are total love bugs! They give the sweetest kisses, are learning to play, and have the best puppy breathe! They will be ready to go to their forever homes 9/13/2024 But we are accepting applications now!

We really aren’t sure what mix these cutie pies are or how big they’ll get, but we expect them to be medium sized.

More adorable, adoptable pups! 🫶🐾

Shonda, Christopher, Cassie, and Sonny are 5 1/2 month old medium mixed breed pups! We have no idea what these cutie pies are, they have short legs and semi long bodies with black and brindle markings! Whatever they are they are very cute and sweet as can be! 🐾

Malibu is a 2 1/2 year old female English foxhound, whippet mix! She weighs about 34 lbs! Malibu is calm and quiet in her kennel and comes to us for attention. She knows sit, shake and is pretty good on a leash. Malibu is a typical hound and uses her nose for everything. It didn’t take her long to find other dog friends in the rescue!

Dragon is a 2 year old male Airedale terrier mix. He weighs about 53 lbs and is such a handsome scruffy boy! He has a great personality and is really playful with his kennel mate, and also runs to us for attention!

Marco & Polo are 2 month old male mixed breed puppies who each weigh around 7 lbs. We expect them to be a medium sized dog but there we are not exactly sure! They will be ready to go home on 9/5! They are the sweetest puppies who have the most beautiful brindle markings! They both love to give kisses and play! ❤️

Introducing a few new faces here at pawsitively saved!

Finn is a 7 month old male Great Dane mix! He weighs about 37 lbs and is a sweet and goofy boy!

Gem and Jules are 2 1/2 month old female chihuahua’s! They are so tiny and super sweet. They will be ready to go home 8/29 but get your applications in now!

Slider is a 1 1/2 year old male chihuahua mix! He is a sweet little dude who weighs about 8 lbs. He can be vocal when left alone or when he wants your attention.

Falcor G is a 5 year old male shepherd mix. He weighs about 60 lbs and has beautiful eyes. He does pretty good on a leash, sits when you stop and loves playing with other dogs. He is vocal when he wants our attention so an apartment lifestyle wouldn’t be suitable for him.

Ellie is a 3 month old female chihuahua! She weighs a mere 6 lbs and is such a little sweetheart! She went on a field trip and did great, minus getting a little carsick! Both her sisters have found their homes and she’s eagerly awaiting hers!

Angelo got to attend a local training class in Newberg at !!

He is a 6 month old Labrador Retriever mix. He loves to play with toys and go for adventures but also is up for snuggles!

He worked on sit, down, place, use your nose, come, and overall handler awareness! He did so great and we’re excited to continue working on what he learned!

We even ran into pawsitively saved alumni Mojo who was there for training! 🐾❤️

They offer discounted rates for rescue dogs, so if you’ve adopted a puppy or plan to, let them know you have a rescue pup and they’ll discount their training sessions! So awesome!

Three of our dogs got to attend classes at !!

Zoom room is a beautiful facility that offers many different training opportunities. They have puppy preschool, basic obedience, agility, private lessons, and more!

This is a great way to bond with your dog, and deepen your connection while also shaping you and your pup into a successful duo!

Stryker, Cypress, and Cassidy loved attending their zoom room classes! They learned so much and did amazing.

We are so thankful for the opportunity to work with zoom room! Their staff are wonderful and really want to help our rescue pups get adopted by building foundational skills to set them up for success in their forever homes!

We highly recommend checking them out! They have weekday classes, weekend classes, mid day and evenings! Also, they even have a little shopping area where you can buy treats, toys, enrichment tools, accessories, and more!

We can’t wait to participate in more classes! 🐾

‼️EXTREMELY URGENT‼️

We need help. These two boys are Miles and Charles. They are VERY scared boys who are not improving at the rescue and they need fosters NOW!!

We are looking for two people to take on these boys as fosters. We know they are so adorable and you might fall in love with their pictures, but you must have experience with scared and shut down dogs. These boys won’t be a walk in the park. But they urgently need out in order to improve and be able to go up for adoption.

Miles is a 1 1/2 year old male chihuahua. He was part of our hoarding dogs and by far was the most fearful out of the whole group. He will come up to one of our employees to take treats and lick her hand, but will not let her touch him. He has been here for almost 6 months.

Charles is a 1 1/2 year old male miniature pinscher mix. He has been with us for 2 1/2 months. We can’t touch him, he won’t come to us for treats, he is too scared.

Our hope is that with experienced and patient fosters these boys will be able to come out of their shell and learn to trust. We know it will take a lot of time, but we have faith that they can get there. The rescue is way too overwhelming for them causing them to constantly be in fight or flight mode, and they don’t get the one on one time in a quiet environment they need.

Please please please, we are pleading for people to step up for these 2. At this point we can’t list them for adoption because we can’t even show them for meets.

We were able to leash and put a blanket over them to pick them up for initial pictures, but that’s it and they were terrified. It breaks our heart to see these boys like this and we’re reaching out for help.

Please share this post, spread the word, If you know someone who might be a good fit and has experience please reach out to them and see if they have it in their heart to help.

We need your help! 🐾

We have quite a few large breed pups right now. Molly is one of the large breed pups who needs an only dog home. This means that she doesn’t get time out in a playgroup. We try to give the dogs who don’t get to play with others some extra TLC! Molly and Jubilee are two of those dogs. They love collagen sticks and we just used our last one today! We added some to our wishlist if anyone wants to buy a bag for these sweet girls! It makes them feel extra special to get time with a chew after a walk.

We also added some more durable toys on our Amazon wishlist since some of ours have been pretty worn!
