Poor Foxy had his 1st meet and greet yesterday. He did everything right. Everything. He gave them endless head butts, he purred, he rubbed and rubbed up against them, cuddled, chatted softly, took treats from them as they sat next to him, and then he put his paw on their knee to ask for more treats! It was the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen! Still, they could not decide. After 90 minutes of Foxy doing his very best, he was exhausted. He rolled over on his side and closed his eyes. The person, without warning, then tried to rub his belly (not something you should ever do when you’re a stranger), and Foxy hissed and bit! (No blood, no mark, no scratches, just a warning.) Foxy, this beautiful, affectionate kitty, had had enough of trying to measure up to their deceased kitty. (One who never scratched furniture and was perfect in every way). It’s fine Foxy, a family, your family!, who will love you forever, just as you are, will find you very soon.

Watson was a homeless pit bull who was found in a park all alone in Philadelphia by a college student. After finding the dog, the student took him to an emergency vet because the pup had sores all over his body, a tumor on his back leg and he was starving.

The vet informed the student that Watson was beyond hope. He had cancer that was spreading and his time was limited...
