Starting August 1st 2024 we will accept 5 small and 5 med/large dogs for daycare. This is a 1st come basis and when we have our 5 for each group we will close it off for any new unless one drops out. These play groups will get a lot of attention and time. Cost is $15 per day and will be Tues, Wed and Thurs only. Please call or send a message if interested. This will only take place when boarding allows for it. We appreciate all of you and hope to see you soon. Keep in mind not all dogs are suited for daycare. There will be requirements to attend and to keep all pups safe. Thank you for considering us.

This is why we do not allow these.

Last week we saw 2 dogs that had a SUDDEN ONSET OF SEIZURES. One had at least 3 in less than a day and the other over a dozen. Neither of these patients had ever had a seizure before & both had just gotten some new treats. I haven't been able to look into it as much as I want to, but both had new rawhide treats "Made in China" under different brand names. Fortunately both dogs are home & doing fine, but I am posting this to warn anyone to check labeling so they can: not purchase, avoid or throw away any dog treats that are made in China. Several years back we feel we were seeing problems, but I haven't seen it again until now..........
Whether you share this post or simply warn everyone you know to read the label before buying any treats. I'm sure that I annoy the folks at PETcetera, when I ask them several times a year to make sure they have NO CHINA TREATS IN THE STORE.

This is Dugan and Luna, they were rescued from the streets of Mexico. Good people are all over the world when it comes to animals. They along with their mom and dad recently moved to the states from Mexico. When dad dropped them off Dugan (the sheppard) was a little nervous but Luna acted if she had been here many times. As I talked to Dugan trying to calm her dad looked at me and stated what? In his funniest tone he said Mr they do not speak English. Then I said Hola and she looked at me. It was one of the many funny moments we have here. This entire family is just wonderful.

Cash was not talking to me because his sister was not in the washroom with him. So, I go.get June. She did a good job keeping him straight for his Theraclean bath. He finally came around.

Little bit is back for another round of Theraclean baths. He is such a trooper. Let us know what you think. Comparison pics from his 1st bath to the 4th.
