Daisy Girls Rescue

Today was a HUGE win for Aurora - she got all four toes done with ZERO sedatives, calming aids, etc. She was simply caught out in the pasture, walked up to the farrier, and had all four feet trimmed. She stood quietly, remained patient, and never once lost her cool.

We have worked so hard for this moment right here. I’m absolutely over the moon with happiness for this mare. She’s one step closer to being the healthiest, happiest version of herself!

Thanks so much to Summer Irons with Irons Farrier Service for once again getting Aurora into tip top shape. I’m incredibly grateful for Summer always being so good with all my special kiddos!

Daisy Girls Rescue

Today was a HUGE day of relief for our girl Aurora. One of the biggest reasons she came to me was in the hopes we could get her feet started on their much needed road to recovery. There are still many, many corrective trims ahead but today Aurora trusted us to help her and the results speak for themselves. While I don’t have before photos, these are the afters. For the first time since she’s been here, I can actually recognize the parts of the hoof! Before her trim, everything was so overgrown and jagged - her bars on the back right were so long there was no longer a divot beside her frog🥴

All four feet look so much better and Aurora thinks they feel better too! I cannot thank the farrier who helped her today enough - Summer Irons you are so patient, so talented, and we owe you so much for helping Aurora today! So happy for this mare!🥰

I just made a page for my business, I offer hot, cold and therapeutic shoeing or trims. Im a graduate from Arkansas Farrier school, I’m continuing my education. I have horse training experience so I don’t mind working with troubled horses or ones that need a gentle hand.
Currently I have openings in my books this next week, I will travel an hour and a half to meet your horses needs. I can provide pictures or references if needed.
