I have some exciting updates to share regarding the future of this page! While we are no longer breeding Newfoundlands, these gentle giants remain the heartbeat of my home. As my own Newfies grow older, I want to continue sharing their journey, their senior milestones, and, of course, plenty of photos of their beautiful faces.
However, I’m also stepping into a new mission. As a groomer who has spent years in the industry, I know how quickly a coat can get out of hand. Whether it’s severe matting or a compacted undercoat, these issues aren't just cosmetic—they are a matter of a dog's comfort and health.
My Mission: Grooming for Good
I am dedicating a portion of my time to helping "dogs in need." My goal is to support owners who truly need a helping hand—those who may have fallen on hard times, owners of neglected rescues, or those who simply didn’t realize how quickly a coat could become a health hazard and can’t afford the specialized care required to fix it.
A Note on This Journey:
Because this is a labor of love, I am looking to help those who are truly in a bind. While I want to use my skills to give back to the community, I am focusing my "pro-bono" or reduced-cost work specifically on these urgent, high-need cases.
How You Can Help:
Transforming a severely matted or neglected coat takes hours of skilled labor and specific supplies. To help fund my travel to these dogs and keep my kit stocked with the specialized tools needed for these tough jobs, I have added my Venmo and PayPal links to my profile bio. Every donation goes directly toward the supplies and fuel needed to reach the next dog in need.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me and my Newfies. I can’t wait to show you the transformations—both in how these dogs look and how much better they feel!
